She drinks when I'm not home at home, she parties, she's loud, she is about to flunk out of school. I have been served noticed by the Independence MO Social Services that I will be held accountable for her behavior. Her mother and I are divorced. Her mom has lupus and had to give up custody. Can I turn her over to the state?

You can't just jump to conclusions: "Oil!","He hates Muslims", "He's just a plain asshole!". He is the only one who knows all his motives, so we should just accept the current state of the world and be supportive. GO BUSH and GO TROOPS

Doesn't that interfere with freedom of religion? And many homosexual people still believe in God and get married in churches.

Someone made a really good point earlier: No one is stopping Athiests from getting married.

Is it just a political move so people will get elected to office?

On this board I see people saying liberals are anti-education. I see people saying liberals are determined to keep people poor and destroy the middle class. Liberals are actually communist. Liberals are supporting terrorism. Liberals are rich and arrogant. Liberals are poor and stupid.
So now I am curious. What do you think a liberal is? What do you think they advocate or stand for?
Now I am going to ask a real tough thing of some of you. Try to back up your answer with a verifiable fact or at least a generally accepted source.
If you want to say what conservatives stand for or advocate, as a comparrison, thats fine too.

My husband and his brother were partners in a business for 20 years. My husband started suspecting his brother of stealing from the company so he decides to get out of the business. The brother didn't want that , so we had to hire a lawyer We paid out 10,000 in lawyer fees just to get the junkiest pieces of equipment their was . We just didn't have the money to fight in court anymore.Now the little brother of these two has stepped up and tried to be "billy bad butt ".His brother evidently hired him on as a hit man . He has broke my husbands jaw, had me put in jail, broke my brothers nose and a whole lot more. The sherriffs office will not do anything because the one brother was a strong canidate in the last sherriffs race and has alot of pull in our small community. We have had to move to another state just to get away from these people, yet they are still going strong. This has been going on nonstop for 7 months and I honestly don't know what to do about these people. Can anyone help

I'm from Canada

My aunt just re-located to Canada from the United States, San Francisco. She has already given in her greencard to be renewed and I think it has been approved already but I need to make an appointment to pick it up. She's telling me I can somehow go to a website and fill out a form for an appointment to pick up her greencard but I am unable to find it. Does anybody know which website I can go to in order to book an appointment to pick up her greencard.

Actually it goes into about $4.2 trillion since 1964 but all we have to show for it are some thousands of very nice pictures and some dirt and rocks. I have nothing against space exploration and the new technology it brings but shouldn't we have limits. Now they are going to build a launch base on the moon to blast off to Mars. What is all this fascination of Mars about anyway. Do you realize how many missions to Mars have failed and cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions. For more info see my 360.

That place sucks. It's so dirty, and it has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the modern world. Because of so many health care services, people just waste their lives and why shouldn't they? If you work like 65% of your money goes to taxes.
