Oh heck yes. All the time! And some of the avatars really crack me up.

That is part of the fun.

I find lots of what I consider a very sad type of humor - like the "proof" upon "prove" that is constantly spewed out to support this or that absolutely ridiculous contention or conspiracy. Although I find it humorous, I also get the uneasy feeling that in some cases, the writer isn't trying to be funny. And that's really, really sad.
I also find some hilarious posts every so often - and I'm sure that's what the writer intended.
And, yes, laughter is good for the body and soul.

I try to find humor in everything. Disagree or not we are still all Countrymen and Women. My soul enjoys a good laugh even at my own expense.

YA has a Jerry Springer quality to it. On a typical episode of Springer, he will ask, "Well, Misty, what's going on here?" And her (non)answer is, "well Jerry, there's this b****, and she ain't nuthin' but a ho, and she ain't leavin' with my man!"

Same thing on YA. You get questions like, "How does Bush sleep after a long day of dreaming up new ways to screw poor people?" or "When will Nancy Pelosi stop trying to advance the homosexual agenda to poison the minds or our children?"

These are typically the questions where you will find even stupider answers.

I like to try and be humorous, but you guy's usually don't appreciate my humor. I do get a kick out of some of each, questions and answers. I think everyone could stand to lighten up and be a little more resistant to what they might consider offensive (not profanity and vulgarity but a little slung mud).

Oh yeah, I find a LOT of things very funny, and even some that I completely disagree with, just because the poster had wit mixed in with their blind sarcastic hatred. God, I love America!!!

Yes and no. It's sad that some of our fellow countrymen/women actually try and hurt people through words. Funny is a pov.

If the idiots weren't so serious in their posts, it would be funny.
Problem is, most of these dolts you see here are truely that f'ed up and that's worrysome, downright scarry.
