As opposed to religion, global warming is based on facts. it's not about believing nor faith is about informing yourself with the facts. Apparently fanatic believers of God refuse to inform themselves of scientific facts when those facts are in conflict with their political views. Explaining what would happen if no separation of church and state were to be in place. Another example would be the evolution debate, but what prooves my point is that when it comes to 911 theories then popular mechanics becomes part of God.

I remember when I was a little girl; I would lie upon the soft grass beneath my mother’s Red Maple tree, and gaze up at the beautiful leaves, and the bright blue sky. I loved the way the leaves would sway and dance in the wind, and the way that the clouds would lazily stroll right on by my ever-watchful eyes. I would pick flowers, I would climb trees, and I would rejoice in the beauty of the earth that surrounded me. However, now that I am older, I know the earth is not as beautiful as it had first appeared to me within the innocent eyes of my youth. Global warming, the awkward changing of the seasons, the pollutions, the extinction of some animals, and much more are now entwined within the beauty of the earth. Humanity has distorted the pureness of what was once a planet of perfection. I have noticed how much the weather has been affected by what humanity has done to the earth. Our winter storms arrive later, and stay longer, in which confuses the migrating birds. The earth cannot help itself, but there are so many signs that it is begging humanity to realize that its neglectfulness has had a price. The ozone layer has become depleted, the polar ice caps are melting away, certain animals are on the brink of extinction, and Mother Nature’s temper has grown out of control. Yes, I strongly believe in Global Warming.

I believe in global warming, even though I have never seen "An Inconvenient Truth" all the rational scientific evidence does point to an unnatural rise in global temperatures, that is faster than the natural global warming cycles. I also haven't heard any credible, that is from a fact check source from a expert in climatology, that there is some other source that would cause temperatures to rise dramatically in the last 100 years or so.

I hear it all the time.Everything is our fault we're to blame yak yak yak.Man made global warming is a myth and history proves. In 1883 Krakatoa erupted, all the sulfur in the air caused the earth's temperature to drop dramatically enough to make it snow in July. The twentieth century on the other hand was the century with the least amount of volcanic activity. It plays a big part in cooling the earth.Sulfur reflects solar rays and the less solar rays coming through the atmosphere the colder the earth gets. You can solve a lot of problems by looking at the past.History is a very powerful tool, its just too bad nobody learns from it.

Global warming is almost certainly primarily caused by humans. Most climate science experts have come to this conclusion.

This issue has been discussed many times in the Yahoo Answers Environment/Global Warming section, if you want to see further details.

When you hear these record highs they speak of, keep in mind they have only been keeping these records accurately for maybe 200 years (guess). The planet is 6 billion years old!

Global warming is not a global trend. Its a solar trend. Mars experienced relative warming considering distance from the sun, similar to that of earth. But it is reasonable to consider that the spacecrafts the martins use contribute to this affect....if you believe that kind of stuff.

Global Warming didn't go so well for North America and In Europe the last time...so if you want to live in Central America and the Middle East, you may want to look at all prospects that maybe man maybe contributing to the problem.

yes the earth is a living entity and there is global cooling and global warming going on since the beginning of time.

slowly humans in the USA are making progress (finally) at not emitting pollution into our atmosphere like we use to do in the USA .... now world wide is energized and sucking fuels....... but it wont really matter , for as soon as a earthquake , giant tsunami, falling meteors or Super Size Me Volcano goes off, all our man-made pollution and all our radioactive materials combined wont do piddly compared to the power of MOTHER NATURE ....
this is her planet and we are her guest , so we better start wiping our feet at the door and using some better manners

Well, there's no doubt that there is global warming, the debate is whether it is caused by human. I think there is insufficient evidence to warrant a severe program. For example, Mars is also experiencing global warming, which lends someone to believe that this warming is caused by solar cycles, rather than carbon dioxide.

So, I guess the short answer is that I do not support government programs to "solve" global warming.

I believe that Global Warming is a symptom of the way we have abused our environment, and that the consequences are dire.

I don't believe Al Gore because he's just a moron.

Otherwise, we have hurt our planet terribly. Its a living thing too and we live on it.
