I like him personably too. I don't think it occurs to him that he was ever over his head.

Perhaps he really even sees it as a kind of graceful Presidential Humility that he has select people to figure out just about everything FOR him. I think he's a kind of really really determined student. He seems proud in becoming proficient in all the "right" answers.

Osama didn't bomb Texas on his watch!

I like Bush as a man, but he's just in way over his head.

I was living in Houston, Tx during Dubya's short stint as govenor. He didn't have much time. Served only a partial term and resigned to run for president. I was working for the State of Texas during that time. The Texas government passed a law that illegal aliens were not to receive Public Aid. Dubya issued a policy (ignored by the Press) to allow illegal seniors, disabled and children to receive benefits. This policy was followed by TDHS. Additionally, we could no longer ask someone if they were a citizen. We had to offer them a voter's registration card. Dubya is a liar, but then I think all politicians are liars as well. Oh--and him being an owner of the Texas Rangers Baseball Team? LMAO! He owned about 1/10 of 1% of them. That too was ignored by the U.S.

Texas didn't allow him to. He did pass a bill or two that we knew nothing about them until they went into effect.

States have no foreign policy. Also, Texas Oil and corrupt companies (ENRON) fund their misadventures.
