It's pretty much campaign suicide if a candidate says they are not religious. Why is that, and will it ever change?

I do not agree with your opinion but I will fight to the death for your right to say it. It seems people would rather see their oponnents dead than support for their right to say it.

fas·cism

A governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Are Republicans racists or do they display racial tendencies? Yes.

Should the outting of Valerie Plame be considered forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism? Yes.

Do Republicans support and encourage aggressive nationalism? You better believe it. Aggressive nationalism is the bread and butter of the Republican party.

Does Bush rule like a dictator? Absolutely.

I think it's a safe assumption that Republicans are fascists in the strict sense of the word.

and.. how would you compare it to modern democracy?

The Democrat party went from free speech, free expression, and equality to "free speech for us, free expression for us, special rights for special groups".

Now the line between democrat and socialist has been totally abolished.

Are you a socialist?

I'm a democrat. I am NOT a socialist. Senator Clinton does NOT share my values. I am a patriot. My country comes first. American values come first.

I was silent when socialists entered my party because they were good at speaking up. Then they turned the Republicans from opponents into "enemies". Then I left the party saying, "They left me." I returned, realizing what a weak and spineless decision I had made (and I wasn't a republican, period).

How many of you can even now admit that our party is going socialist, that there is no difference between it and the socialist party, and that you agree with them and those who silently stand with them (most of our leadership).

How many of you stand with our DEMOCRATIC principles, still?

Make it impossible to get a driver's license or any kind of license if you cannot prove you are in the country legally. Stop making every baby born on American soil a citizen unless one or more of the parents is a citizen. Make it illegal to lend money to an illegal alien or for an illegal alien to own real property, bank accounts, or conduct any business. If people who are here illegally don't register, they would be risking having their property and bank accounts siezed. These are just a few of the things that I think would be easy to implement.

Is Jail right for her? She had an emotional breakdown and is paying too much for her crime. There was a drunk driver who hit a woman who needed four operations to be back to normal. He got 90 days of community service. Paris gets a month in jail.

1. OK I really want to be in the Navy and cant wait. But since I am in the Delayed Entry Program(DEP) I have time to finish school first. ok when I enlisted I didnt get the job I wanted but my recruiter says that I can change my job over while in the DEP, he says that I will have to redo some paper work and make other contract. Ok is that possible

2. If I dont get the job I want is it possible to just get out of the DEP and not go to my ship-out-date. I heard that you can send a letter to someone and not go and you just get a discarge and something about GI rights but does anyone know more about that.

P.S. 10 points to whoever helps me the most.

If so, will it lead to a Republican landslide, or will they cancel the elections? I was wondering because there seemed to be a bunch of them at "convenient" times for Republicans, like during the Democratic convention.

and then use that as proof tax cuts for the rich work?

Below are historical GDP and tax revenues values. They are in current dollars and inflation adjusted constant dollars. I prefer the ones that take into account inflation.

http://www.bea.gov/national/xls/gdplev.xls
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2007/sheets/hist01z3.xls

If you were to plot real GDP ( in chained 2000 dollars), you would see that every single president since atleast FDR could have said the economy was the largest it has ever been. Every single president stepped out off office with tax revenues larger then when he first stepped into office.

However, when you start comparing the percent increase in real GDP, tax revenues, median wages, etc, etc, you will see that the economy does indeed do better when keynesian Democrats run the country.

The (distorted) world according to CNN:

India: a miserable country, where everybody lives in the middle of a lot of waste. All the children are prostitutes (the land of lost children). This crazy and dirty people have a strange and demoniac religion that makes them to take a shower in the sewerage system.

Great Britain: land of the Queen, drag queens and Tony Blair (gradual increase).

China: the most beautiful democracy in the world.

Russia: another miserable and anti-American dictatorship.

Mexico: Where is it? Is it an American island?

Brazil: 50% of the people live in the jungle. The other half lives in caves with a lot of waste inside. And don’t forget the prostitutes along the beach (and their mad dictator, Lula).

Iraq: In the beginning, they were demoniac apes. Today they are odd people that explode everything. Their soul will be saved by the American’s mercy.

Iran: a mad immoral Arabian country, where women are tortured. They are the reincarnation of devil

I do, and we did. The Amnesty bill is currently dead. According to senate staffers the outcry from AMerica is larger than ever before and 98% of us agreed. That makes me proud to say I am an American. We can stand together and we can win.

Now how about standing together on another issue? What are we to do about those Senators that would sell us out for a third world vote? Are we going to let them do it again, or when they come up for re-election are we going to forget what they almost did to our country.

So can we stand united again, and vote out those who would destroy our country.
