Yes, despite all of our bickering and differences when American s are faced with a real problem we Unite to solve it. Don't let the media fool you into thinking we are a divided nation.

When I called in to my senators I was smiling at the long delay to get in! I was brief and to the point I told them voting for the amnesty bill was nothing less than treason! I pointed out there is no funding means for the trillion + that it would cost! The way it works is for every call, letter or email there are another 14,000 constituents that feel the same on the issue! This is how they weigh it so every call, letter and email does count. This was just a small battle and though they have retreated for now we must remain ever vigilant to make sure they don’t try to sneak the same crap in with another “sure to pass” bill.
There is a hate crimes bill coming up that will destroy our first amendment and shut down almost all talk radio! We must see it down in flames too! And don’t forget the major attack on internet freedom that will give the big providers a virtual monopoly over what will be allowed and how much it will cost, this proposed bill will include a means to tax the net! I will post more on this as I get it!

This was one victory..for now anyway. I hope those who's republican congressmen(we expect this from the dems) voted for this bill will remember and vote them out....also, when its primary time lets not forget good ol Senator McCain....this, along with the campaign finance scheme reveals what mr. McCain truly is.......my biggest fear for this country is the division...Americans are not standing together anymore...ever since Vietnam we have been a house divided.....Jesus said a house divided will fall......as long as we have a media that divides, we are in danger of falling.

I have for years said "No Incumbents" The idea of the citizen statesman is lost on those that have been in Congress for half a century. We need to have term limits. You can enter Congress broke and retire an millionaire. Some have been their so long that they have million dollar homes in Reston Va. and the suburbs of D.C. If I thought my job was temporary and I was going to return to my district I don't think I would make such as investment. Two terms in the House and one in the Senate. At the end of your term here's a check for 50 k, thank you for your service and you are prohibited from running again for any office other than President. No big retirements and no turning lobbyist. You get Social Security like the rest of us. Look how Finestein and Pelosi have used their positions to enrich their husbands and themselves. Pelosi on a government land deal in S.F.

We will pull together as Americans when the crap hits the fan! It is the spirit of america that G.W. Bush and his cronies have tried to squash to give them more political power. Once the little "idiot" is out of office, I think Americans will finally feel "safe" to be american! It hasn't been safe to be a patriot in america lately...Republican wannabe rednecks have threatened others for not supporting Bush and his war!

On the Amnesty bill, absolutely. And, we will.
I will wait to decide on who I vote for President, after the primaries are over, but don't worry on my part here, Diane Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer, have NEVER gotten my vote for Senator!

The defeat of the amnesty for illegals bill showed that enough Americans still love America and will rise against treason.
Harry Reid best back off and take little Nancy with him to the rest home...

Hopefully a decent independent runs for senate here in MN, because that's what I'll be voting to get the rino republican Norm Coleman out of office! The way he votes, you'd think he was a liberal democrat!

Sadly, it's not over yet. I heard today that Bush is really pushing for this. Only six Republicans supported this atrocity and he's meeting with others to put the pressure on them.
It will come around again and we must stay focused! As long as they fully realize that they will be run out of office, we continue to have the upper hand and it's about time!

Well we did it regarding the amnesty bill, but it is unbelievable that the people we elected, are so bent on opposing the will of the people, talk about arrogance. We should not forget these sell out politicians when next we vote,

if you follow the example of the people of the eastern European countries who took to the streets to demand their freedom. yes, it's possible.
the problem is people in the old communist countries understood that they were listened to propaganda and being indoctrinated in school.
In the west the people have become apathetic and unaware of how much they're being bombarded by the NWO agenda.
because nobody who opposes the aim of One World Government gets media time or campaign funding the political class in the western world are all bought and paid for- so all change must come for the people who must start to distrust the established parties and look elsewhere for who's telling the truth. e.g. Pat Buchanan ;)
