fas·cism

A governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Are Republicans racists or do they display racial tendencies? Yes.

Should the outting of Valerie Plame be considered forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism? Yes.

Do Republicans support and encourage aggressive nationalism? You better believe it. Aggressive nationalism is the bread and butter of the Republican party.

Does Bush rule like a dictator? Absolutely.

I think it's a safe assumption that Republicans are fascists in the strict sense of the word.

Do you think that working to create a North American Union without the knowledge of either Congress or the American people demonstrates aggressive nationalism? That is what the current administration is up to.

More accurately, most of the prominent Republicans are Corporatist. They have sold their souls to Corporate special interests. For campaign contributions, and employment as "consultants" when they retire from public service, our politicians pass laws and enact policies that enrich their benefactors.

Wars definitely enrich war profiteers, while they bleed the taxpayers. No body really knows what our current exploits are costing, but when the printing presses stop rolling, you are going to see some really big inflation.

Inflation enriches the wealthy and impoverishes the poor and middle class. Inflation is the printing of currency, something that can't be done when a nation has a non-inflating, gold-backed currency.

Ron Paul is the only man running that can stop this situation. That's why he is being ignored by mainstream media. The media has been bought and paid for by the same interests as our politicians. Only the Internet is still free.

You have a point but, I abhor everyone making assumptions about political beliefs just because of how they are registered as voters.
The truth is, the majority of the politicians, both parties, have become Centrists since being bought by the corporate suits. They are interchangeable between the 2 parties other than a couple of hot button issues.
Bush is a fascist because he is the one trying to rule as a dictator, I really do not think all the Repubs are like this or support Bush. Just look at his approval ratings.

This republican is against government bail-outs. In a society whilst capitalism reigns, a organization ought to fail if it now no longer can stay to tell the story. I daresay nevertheless, that the reason maximum of vote for such issues is with the help of the fact there may well be a noisy cry from some if lots of of workers lost their jobs . . . or consistent with possibility the reason some attempt to help corps stay afloat is with the help of the fact the corp has been regulated and/or taxed to death. i ask your self which section is so super into super taxes? Oh, and since the Democratic occasion has been taken over by making use of socialists-- they pass by making use of the call Liberals, or Social Progressives at present.

Everything in the first paragraph doesn't describe anyone in our government. If you wanna spin it, and play with words like you have then yes, Republicans are fascists! If you honestly believe we live in a dictatorship, you should do one of two things....1. Study history and find out what a real dictatorship is, or 2. Leave the country now, while you still can............oooooohhhhh scaaaaaarrrry!

You make a lot of statements without backing them up. TRUE Republicans/conservatives believe in a smaller government and the individual's rights. Unfortunately, Bush (more like an amateur liberal than a conservative) abandoned conservative principles, and many Republicans have turned against him. (Seen any GOP debates recently?) Don't characterize a whole group of people based on one moron.

Isn't it strange that few recognize that a republic is home to the ruling 'elite.' They believe they are born to rule and 'above' the masses whom they 'tax' to support their agendas. To all of them, I say, GET BIT.

Republicans should be called "Childish."

They can't play nice, so they call other people names, tattle on people, and sulk in their corners for the rest of their lives.

What most of these name callers don't realize is that socialism permeates American society to our benefit.

The police department, fire department, town/city water, sanitation plants, trash collection, road works etc. are all institutions run by gov't for the benefit of the community without thought for profit. That in it's essence is socialism and it does benefit the greater good.
