Four members of Congress are completing the weeklong "Food Stamp Challenge" Monday by eating on the average federal assistance provided to food stamp recipients: $21 per week, which works out to -- $3 a day or $1 a meal.

Reps. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.), Jo Ann Emerson (D-Mo.), Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), and Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) - all members of the House Hunger Caucus - .seemed genuinely humbled and moved by experiencing the plight faced by too many Americans, even if only for a week. About 26 million Americans get food stamps, mostly women and children.

why is it liberals give credit for george bush causeing 9/11 and knowing about it in one breath and call him stupid in the next. seems to me that you would have to be real smart to plan something like that.

things that are bad about illegal immigrants.

Now lets see...our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free
medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be a automatic
citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes
went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families:
you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: your
child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class
doesn't speak English.

who is against illegal immigrants (please feel free to give me a star i need them)
Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my
bank talk to me in English

I told a woman with a "mentally challenged" child to get her stupid ----ing "tardo" out of the way. She was very close to taking a swing at me. And started to cuss me out. It was funny.

I asked a sickly person "ahh.... do you ------ hurt?" he gave me a grave look and said You should have this disease.

i work for a small family firm. Each week at staff meetings I like to bring up issues related to women's menstruation. My boss has asked me not to do this - but I believe that this is a free country so I have ignored this. This week I brought it up again in the office meeting - I tried to say that the company should be more eco friendly and perhaps encouarage more women to re- useable sanitary products like menstrual cups, sponges and cloths. I said that if the boss suggested this to his wife then other women were more likely to follow.
My boss then told me to leave the meeting./
He marched me outside and muttered something about me needing help, I began talking more abut menstrual cups and he grabbed me by the arm and shook me. He quickly let go, then said sorry and said that I was driving him spare. he asked me not to rejoin the meeting.
Since then he has avoided me.
Where do I stand

What a great place to live here in Ohio. First the minority got thier way and we have a smoking ban. I can't even smoke in the VA building. Now we are going to have another law that says, you cannot get any closer than 6 ft to a stripper. Boy, they take the fun out of everything. Does anyone else out there want a DO -GOODER law passed to protect us from ourselves. If so, let me know what your new law will be.

Why is everyone praising him when he blasted the Bush administration? Carter put this country in the situation we are in now! He has no basis to make those comments.
