Why is everyone praising him when he blasted the Bush administration? Carter put this country in the situation we are in now! He has no basis to make those comments.

David, that link provides a brief summary of his multiple mistakes in the middle east, and I believe adaquately demonstrates in a short space he is the reason Iran hates us. Iran is the biggest funder of terrorism, and is responsible for most of the bombings in Iraq. So it started with him. Without Iranian interference, the war in Iraq would be going ALOT smoother. Also answer me this, why did the democrat controlled senate unanimously approve Gen. David Patraeus then reject his troop surge plans that he, there in Iraq, says is working and showing progress.

Libs don't remember the failure Carter was. He literally brought America to it's knees the economy went to hell Inflation soared and yes the terrorists found our weakness and it is the democrats

Jimmy Carter is not the reason we're in the situation we're in. If that were the case you'd have made some semblance of an argument to support that claim. Also, his presidency ended more than a quarter century ago. The war in Iraq rages on with no relief in sight, and this country's frankly seen better days on the economic front too. Don't you think that's enough to keep us busy without bringing up Carter and insipidly trying to blame all that isn't well with the world on him?

Jimmy Carter is a total joke,
His presidecy was a total diaster, DOuble digit unemployment, inflation, interest rates,
He let iran push us around, ANd today besides building houses for the homeless which i praise him for he's buddying up with the enemy in palestine, cuba, venezuela.
He has no room to bash bush!!!!
