Actor or not, his record in TN speaks for itself. He made promises to his constituents and stuck by those promises.

Most of the people in Hoggywood don't deserve the time of day, IMHO. But this man is different. He's educated, he has experience and if he runs, my vote is his!

The Democratic candidates act like children. When you hear former SENATOR Fred Thompson speak, you're listening to a refreshing dose of adult.

He is conservative. Not a ride the fence RHINO. Unlike condescending, educated Liberals, who know everything, have closed their minds, and learn to insult others when they have nothing "educated" to offer, just a bunch of tripe, he is a refreshing figure in politics. Very much like Reagan. I will support him 100%.

Hey darlin!

Just thought I would stop by and knock this pitch right outta the park... =)

First of all, he has spent time in the house of representatives, which qualifies him AT LEAST as much as Her Thighness and Barak the magic ***** (Which is a moniker that was placed on him by a LIBERAL WRITER FROM THE LA TIMES, not by me, so don't aim your hate speech this way!!!), but on top of that, he has spent time in the REAL WORLD, not just in the land of the liberal elites! He has represented Tennessee, a state that went for BUSH even tho Al Gore (Mr Hypocracy, he of the "Do as I say, not as I do, YOU get rid of your SUV, dont run your air conditioner, and use candles, so that there is enough power available for me to light my house that takes $20,000 worth of power A MONTH, and fly around in my private jets, telling people that all the polar bears are drowning (Earth to Al--THEY CAN SWIM!!!), and the glaciers are melting (Earth to AL--there are as many glaciers advancing as there are retreating, including the LARGEST ONE IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE--but you global warming cultists just seem to conveniently leave those parts out...) claimed Tennessee as his HOME STATE! How embarassing, even MONDALE was able to claim his home state when he got SKUNKED by Reagan...

Plus, he has a grounding in the real world, common sense policies, and an ability to speak TO the electorate without having to speak DOWN to them (ala Hillary). He is a decent, honest man, not seeking the presidency for the personal wealth or power that it will give him (ala Hillary), but because he believes that he can do something great and special for out wonderful United States of America!

On top of that, I agree with most of the guy's policies, NOT the least of which is that the amnesty bill floating around the halls of congress is simply a BAD BILL, and should be SCRAPPED, with nothing further done UNTIL THE FENCE IS BUILT!!!

Thanks, for the softball, kiddo! Love ya!!

umm, like it or not, Republicans can't be too extreme on their views to get into office, just how Democrats can't be to extreme either. So Fred Thompson won't have much of a shot at the presidency.

What Zilla said and confirmed by Matt. Thompson is awesome!

2007-05-23 13:55:56 · answer #9 · answered by Cherie 6 · 1 0

because he supports torture, treating women like breeding factories, wants to keep minorities in their place, strives to make all non-christians see the error of their ways or be treated as 2nd class citizens,
he will lower taxes and only use that money for the military. he will privatize everything. he'll end all labor unions. especially those firemen and police- we will now hire people through faith-based charities to put out fires and stop criminals (especially the ones who speak their minds, have unpopular thoughts, or dress differently- these are all indicators of working with al quidea)

if you are a good american and like these things remember- vote for the gop in '08
