My dad was in the process of a divorce for almost a year. He was also in the process of writing a new will. Neither the divorce nor the will were signed/finalized!

Now, my stepmother (the wife he was divorcing) has submitted an older will to probate which says everything goes to her. Dad had wanted his estate to be divided up amongst his children (as he expressed during the divorce proceedings). He had the latest will completed by a lawyer, but it was never signed. What is the best course of action? There is some possibility the stepmother will respect Dad's wishes, but I'd say it's only a 50-50 chance. Should we contest the older will she submitted (which appears valid) with the idea that Dad's later will (which might not be valid) will at least allow the prior will to be revoked? Then, maybe us kids can get a share of the estate as if there was no will at all? Any other thoughts on this would also be helpful.

I'd feel alot better with our presidents if I knew that 85% of the people were involved in voting for them.

I am considering the Navy as a career option after college and would like to know what type of degree would benefit me most in a combat type field. I would like to go into BUDs training after entering into the Navy to become a SEAL. If I did make it through BUDs which degree would help me most in that field.

As a liberal:

If you hear a news report of a man beat nearly to death because he is a minority or gay will you rally about punishing the bigot who committed the terrible crime?

If so, when you hear a news report of a man beat nearly to death for his money, by a minority, do you start talking about the poor disadvantaged person who is forced to commit such acts to survive?

Why is there such a double standard on the left that you see it as justified to outlaw cigarettes but legalize marijuana?

Also, why do you believe that the National Rifle Association helps criminals while the American Civil Liberties Union protects the innocent?

let's say my sister, who is an american citizen, petitions me for a greeen card and the petition is accepted. Then I would have to wait for a couple of years for a visa number to get the green card. IF I'M INSIDE THE COUNTRY WHEN SHE petitions me and the petition is accepted, can I wait inside the country and get employment authorization and work even though I have to wait to get a visa number and get the green card??

Gallup has her favorability rating dropping from 58 percent in February to only 45 percent in April. The decrease in her popularity spans all demographic groups. Gallup has her dropping sharply even among her core constituencies: Democrats, liberals and single women. There is a lot of time between now and the elections, but if things continue, she will not get the nod.

On May 15th, there is going to be a "gas-out". All americans are encouraged to avoid filling up their gas tanks on that day. It was done in 1997, and nearly cost the oil companys $3,000,000,000. That is 3 billion dollars. Overnight gas prices dropped nearly 30 cents a gallon. If you are tired of paying $30.00-$50.00 to fill up your car, then join real americans who have had enough of oil companies reporting billion dollar profits each quarter. I know you guys are out there. LET'S DO THIS!! If you can't, then at least pass this on to as many people as you can. Let's show the "have's and the have mores" that the little people have the will and the power to make a stand and be heard!
