Unions have become unnecessary. Workers in this country have rights. However unions continue to stick around so they can collect union dues.

Only fear can bring out the nasty, ridiculous crap that is said about dems. What are you people actually trying to pull with this attitude. I am beginning to believe from your extremist remarks that you may actually want a fascist country. Or are these terrorists on here?

The foreign embassy near where I live, I will not state which country it is embassy of, put up a sign saying that people are not allowed to stop, stand, or park in front of the building. Surely, this area is a public space, and thus beyond the juridisiction of the embassy? As it is, this embassy has such power that taxis do not stop in front of the building, if I stand with my back to the building, looking in my bag to get out my mobile phone, the guard watches me with his gun at the ready. What is this about? Such paranoia is not good.
If they have the right, I would like to know the reasons.
Thanks.

Then why is it he is forcing their hand in the Iraq funding bill?

If they don't send him a bill he wants it gets vetoed, showing that libs just don't want to try and work WITH the president as they said they would do.
So now it will come to this. Either NO bill that congress sends to Bush will get passed OR the dems will be forced to defund the war up front and in the open, ultimately showing the country just how "cut and run" they really are.

Makes Bush pretty smart if you ask me.

The event founder says she received a call from the Fairfax office of U-S Citizenship and Immigration Services. Maria Roe says that when she asked why the office was interested in Sunday's event, she didn't get an answer.

She says she called off the festival she launched three years ago because she didn't want anyone taken from their families by authorities, whether they're illegal or not.

A spokeswoman for Immigration Services says the office called only to find out more about the festival and its location. She says it wanted to offer information on how the office can help immigrants with visa applications, citizenship requests and other support.

What kind of parents would leave their children behind in the U.S.? Most of these illegals are being sent back to Mexico, which just happens to be the richest country of the Third World. Yes, a lot of people are poor there. But they aren't starving. Millions of parents are raising their children in Mexico. Are the pro-amnesty marchers saying that Mexico is a country unfit for habitation?

My opinion is ,he was a rich son of a rich family who discovered he would never have a political voice. He went to Afghanistan supported by anti soviet americans and helped beat the russians, arriving home discovered he was still an insignificance in his own land ,and that gave him a sense of greivance which channeled itself through other religious insignificants who had no hope of temporal power and hey presto we have al quaida. If the mullahs get full temporal power in the middle east he and al zarqawi will be among the first with their backs to the wall .The nail that sticks up will be the first to be hammered
