Alot of people are idiots & unfourtunatley influence those around them.
Terrorism is Bush's excuse for everything from his polices in war overseas and those here at home.
This excuse is wearing thin & people will soon recognise this a$$hole as the worst president in US history.

The constitution has been under assault for 40 years. The blind hatred of Bush makes stupid people post stupid things on message broads. If you understood history at all you would know the courts have been taking it away. Politicians don't do it because they can't get elected then. They just don't do their job and let the courts decide. It is not Bush or the media (although the media only speaks liberal). It is the courts. The power in this country is in the courts these days. So blame them when you ask this kind of question.
This power was granted by the American people. The ones that are lazy, apathetic, ignorant and just plain stupid. The ones who think it is the other guys congressman that is the problem. The ones that go each cycle and vote the same tired worthless person into office again. The ones that do this and then complain and wonder what happened. The facts don't come from a 10 second sound bite on CNN and you must actually seek out the truth.

Blah Blah Blah. Take your Al-jezeera inspired delusions and stick them up your ***. You dont know anthing about America, our constitution, our government, or our laws. Not to mention your lack of knowledge - in regards to us as a people - or how we view the world. Yoy know, for a group of people who claim to be so "cultured" - you sure come off as if you dont even understand the meaning of the word.
PUT DOWN YOUR KOOL-AID
-There is no torture going on
- 9/11 was NOT an inside job
- There are NO aliens at Area-51
- JFK was NOT killed by the CIA
- Pearl Harbor was NOT an inside job

No-one has really allowed him to do it, they just haven't been able to stop him.
Propaganda has played a big part, as Bush hides the atrocities behind news of 'breakthroughs' in Iraq, etc.

"I did not have a sexual relationship with monica lewinsky" - Billy
It's way more than just bush that has disolved the constitution.

That would be the Supreme Court of the last fifty years ignoring the Constitution so they can legislate from the bench that has put us in jeopardy.

Because he had both of the Houses and the courts (his dad put most of the top judges into their positions) on side at the time. Things will hopefully change soon for both USA and Britain, and then we can all sleep well in our beds when Bush and Blair are gone.
However, I am surprise that Bush hasn't tried to rewrite the constitution so he can stay in for another term.

The United States is a long running experiment in public governance. We tip too much one way and then another. This is about as far as Americans are going to let Bush erode our freedoms.
Expect to see the other party gain the upper hand soon to steer away from the current mess.

Even George Tenet out spoken critic of GWB said that these tactics have saved American lives. If a counter terrorist unit overhears me selling drugs via my telephone any and all info gathered as a result of said phone call becomes inadmissible in an American court of law. This is about saving our economy and American lives. If our economy falls as do we. wake up and see the destabilization tactics that may well cause countless deaths. Never forget...the destruction of our economy equals loss of American lives. From terrorist or murders, from crime rates driven up to lack of affordable services, from soup lines, to continued destabilization once our economy is toppled. Riots to world wide panic.
