The officer can charge you with obstruction of justice, if you are flashing your lights to warn other drivers of his presence ahead.
Flashing your lights is okay to warn people about oncoming hazards, and most commonly that their lights are off.
Now realistically speaking, it's very rare for someone to get obstruction of justice for flashing lights. For one thing, the officer has no way of proving that you flashed your lights to alert the drivers---unless you admit it to him.

Yes, but like many things, that's rather stupid. One has to remember that the primary reason for a speeding ticket is to add money to the government coffers. Every speeding ticket is an admission of defeat because someone is driving too fast for safety. If alerting other drivers slows them down, then this is a victory. Of course, since that cuts the money flow ----

Yes,
charge is something like obstruction _______
Anyways, I kind of like the officers that radar, because around here people drive like crap and need to slow down. It is very hard to go the speed limit when you have multiple vehicles zipping by at more than 20 mph then what you are going. It is very hard to be safe when you are bottlenecking speeders at rush hour.

Yes, if the police really want to go after you. It's called obstruction; you're obstructing the officer in the performance of his/her legal, rightful duty. Besides, if you or the people you are warning are speeding, a citation is deserved, wouldn't you say? The police are doing their job to try and keep us safe.

yes they can ticket you , but it won't hold up in court if you appear. it is your word against his, and you can tell the court that you were just checking your lights.why do cops have to be such jerks.

Yes, if you get caught! But i do it anyway. While they are ticketing me, they are leaving everybody else alone.
I don't like cop's anyway and don't care who knows it.
