My opinion on this particular subject:

No. And I don't think they deserve to magically become US citizens just because they're here in mass.

The ONLY point to the questions I've asked is to hopefully give another perspective to the misinformation that is circulating around.

No, illegal immigrants are probably not good for our country overall. And yes, something should probably be done.

And I'd also like to see them study American history and learn the same things that our country requires of all other immigrants.

Not all Muslims are terrorists its a very small group of people 200 maximum, who are causing bloodshed. However bush is killing thousands and is backed up by millions of supporters. Why doesnt the media stop make muslims look bad, and campaign to get Bush on the world tribunal in the Hague as a real war criminal, a land traitor (cause lets face it its all about the oil baby, not the americans security) and as the terrorist that he is.

Do you need an Estate Planner to do a Will and a Trust or can you do it yourself and have a lawyer notarize it? How much does it cost to have a lawyer notarize these types of documents.

Last week the House Judiciary Committee, egged on by radical homosexual groups, passed what can only be called a Thought Crimes bill. It’s called the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act. But this bill is not about hate. It’s not even about crime. It’s about outlawing peaceful speech—speech that asserts that homosexual behavior is morally wrong.

Some say we need this law to prevent attacks on homosexuals. But we already have laws against assaults on people and property. Moreover, according to the FBI, crimes against homosexuals in the United States have dropped dramatically in recent years. In 2005, out of 863,000 cases of aggravated assault, just 177 cases were crimes of bias against homosexuals—far less than even 1 percent.

I'm doing a persuasive speech on capital punishment, but I'm not going to tell you which side I'm on. I'd just like to hear some arguments that would help me out. Thanks!

Also, if you are against it, I have another post coming up shortly after this one that I would appreciate you responding to.

(First I am not a typical left-wing nut) BUT.......
Bush is killing baby seals and the Billions of dollars are flowing to Dick Cheneys company because of this. Bush has also made sugar less sweet and Haliberton is making millions off this everyday. My cable went out last night for 20 minutes....Chi-CHING for Haliberton $$$$. My dog had a litter of pups one died..THANKS BUSH!!! See the way the conspiracy works is like this: Bush does all these terrible things like changing the weather, causing famine's all over the world, killing baby kittens, polluting all the earths water & global warming then Haliberton and it's President Dick Cheney charge the tax payers 100 Trillion dollars per day to quit doing these things over & over.

I'm seriously considering applying for a border patrol job with the CBP. I meet the requirements and qualifications, and have visited the official website. My question is; just how tough is the physical training (boot camp)? I'm a 27 year old female who works out 3 times a week, but I'm not in really great shape. Could someone with experience in the academy give me some ideas of how difficult training will be?

YES!

The fact that illegal immigrants pay taxes at all will come as news to many Americans. A stunning two-thirds of illegal immigrants pay Medicare, Social Security and personal income taxes. Yet, nativists like Congressman Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., have popularized the notion that illegal aliens are a colossal drain on the nation's hospitals, schools and welfare programs — consuming services that they don't pay for.

Will Liberal Hatred For The President Stop Now or will Bill Clinton Get As Much Hate Mail as We Patriotic Conservatives ?

I have been publicly named in repeated blogs, being called a whole array of untrue and vicious things, like thief, liar, fraud, etc. This person has "threatened" to publish my rap sheet and booking photos (both, however are non-existent), has published my tax, real estate and dmv information. (all of which is, of course, available online anyway)
I am a private person, yet my real name is being used. Do I have any recourse? The hosting company simply refers me to the blogger. The blogger remains anonymous however, and unknown to me. This has gone on for about a year now.

I remember hearing a while ago about how CA only recieves $.75 back from the federal govt for every $1.00 of tax revenue it sends to Washington, meaning CA recieves less than it gives. So I did a search to find that info and came across a study that shows all the states and what they give and get back from the feds. Almost all of the "donor" states, states that give more than they recieve, are blue states; there are some exceptions but very few. And almost all the red states recieve more than they give to the federal govt. Does anyone else think that this is extremely unfair? That states like mine, CA, have to help subsidize and support these red states like Wyoming, Alabama, ect.. People from red states always talk crap on CA and other "liberal" states but it's those "liberal" states and their tax dollars that support them. Why should a state recieve more money from the federal govt than they give?

In reading my local news paper today, I see coverage of the areas "May Day" protests. There is one 17 year old illegal alien that is quoted as being upset because she has been told that she is not eligible to receive student aid and must pay out of state rates to go to college. She sees this is unfair and racist and wants the Democrats to reform the immigration policy.

What do you think of that point of view?

As a liberal I used to respect him because he didn't always follow the party line. He still does this occasionally with this strong stance against torture, but lately I think he's been kissing too much religious right behind.

All this a-- kissing doesn't seem to be working anyways. Focus on the Famiy fundie, whatever his name is, has said he would never vote for McCain.

Presidential Candidates should make this a plank on their platform. This is a key security issue, and it provides a non-lethal way to inhibit a shooter from harming a big group of people. If there was 1 taser per teacher, then school shootings would be greatly hindered, and maybe deterred.

At the least, it would give people in schools a chance to defend themselves.

A dry cleaner is being sued for $67 Million dollars because they lost a pair of pants. The pants belonged to an "attorney" (probably a misnomer) who is suing because the pants were "special".

Minimally this is lawsuit abuse. The dry cleaner has already offered over $12,000 in what is tantamount to extortion, but the jackass continues to press the lawsuit. This wreaks of vengeance and I believe to be unethical behavior - when does the ABA step in and slap this guy down? And we wonder why attorneys have horrible reputations...
