As a liberal I used to respect him because he didn't always follow the party line. He still does this occasionally with this strong stance against torture, but lately I think he's been kissing too much religious right behind.

All this a-- kissing doesn't seem to be working anyways. Focus on the Famiy fundie, whatever his name is, has said he would never vote for McCain.

He's shooting himself in the face and it's hilarious. John is the only real shot conservatives have in 2008 and he not only is pandering way to much but he suports a war that over 60 percent of Americans don't.

NO Just a loose cannon.

Since we elect presidents for their comedic qualities he is currently my favorite.

Hillery is no fun and you can't make black jokes. The only guy left is Carpet Bagger John.

Well carpet shopper but bagger sounds better.

Yup! Like you , I once liked him and could see myself voting for him.. But he sold out to Bush and he is selling out to the crazy religious nuts.

That makes him too scary for me.

Yes, he sold out out. I respected him back in 2000, but now he's just another Neocon dirtbag, just like George W Bush, just like Obama, just like Hillary Clinton.

The lunatic is pushing for war with Russia right now with all his insane rhetoric.
