No. Because not all terrorists want that. Some want America to butt out of the middle east, to stop supporting Israel and to leave them alone - not to impose a caliphate. The majority (now here's the scary truth people) of terrorists are not Muslim. There are lots and lots of religions out there, and every one of them has terrorist organisations associated with it. Christians have abortion clinic bombers. Jews have Irgun. Hindus have the Tamil Tigers. There are many non-religious terrorist groups such as animal rights extremists. The war on terrorism SHOULD (and hopefully does, if the world is not completely screwed) target them too. These people want a whole range of different things - not to return to the 7th century.
