My opinion on this particular subject:

No. And I don't think they deserve to magically become US citizens just because they're here in mass.

The ONLY point to the questions I've asked is to hopefully give another perspective to the misinformation that is circulating around.

No, illegal immigrants are probably not good for our country overall. And yes, something should probably be done.

And I'd also like to see them study American history and learn the same things that our country requires of all other immigrants.

My perspective may be a bit different, but here goes. I don't mind the latino/ hispanic immigration. They are from a western culture, most hold dear the values are country is based on. If they spoke english I think this would be easier for most Americans .
That said I am scared to death of the northern border where illegal muslims are coming acroos to live in Buffalo, NY, Rochester, NY, Dearborn, MI, and Minneapolis MN. Yes, I know they go other places , too but they are the ones that scare me. I also recognize there are plenty of illegal Asians, Irish, British , Russians, ETC.
I would rather see the latinos who will populate the USA quickly with there birth rate then see the muslims beat them to it. I hate the thought of my granddaughters having to wear burqas and be a second class citizen in 50 years and with latinos that would not happen. Since white people don't make babies anymore.

Like one of the guys said about1.2 million immigrants legally enter the country on visas & permits every year, more than pretty much the rest of the nations in the world combine, well then MOST illegal Immigrants, about 50% according to ICE, overstayed their permits becoming illegal the other half of all ilegal immigrants sneak into our country not just the MEX/USA also CANADA/USA and sea ports, the only way to end this is to REFORM our immigration system. Why some immigrants don't apply for a permit and just sneak in, well thats BECAUSE the process to enter the USA is much to long and expensive & sometimes they don't qualify to enter the USA. Thats why and amnesty is not an answer we need a REFORMATION of our system to take those who can't live in the USA for many reasons out of here, and to let those who overstayed their visas to integrate into our system, so they can all of their taxes not just the ones from GOODS and SERVICES. Take France and Spain for example they ended with their illegal immigrant, problem in just one year, HOW?? They actually sat down and worked toguether to create a new immigration system, no border around their shores was need it to keep the Africans aways just a reform.

Absolutely not! Lawbreakers are not good citizens, nor are they good citizen material. They have demonstrated that fact by their willingness to break the immigration laws and then to compound that lawbreaking by committing fraud and other crimes and now they are marching to demand a pass on punishment for their crimes and actually to demand legalization of their crimes. But if we allow this legalization or amnesty or special treatment -- isn't it just like blackmail? Won't they just come back in the future to demand even more concessions? Didn't our President say we don't negotiate with terrorists? Well, just because illegal immigrants are not being violent doesn't mean they are any less effective in their terrorist acts -- they are just economic terrorists and mafia type terrorists. They will never stop unless we citizens and our law enforcement show them that the United States is a Nation of Laws and that we will have them enforced regardless of what the government fails to do.

We can't forget that this country is built on immigrants. It would be better is they would apply for citizenship. My mom is an alien and I was born in the Phillippines, we are here legal and don't want any special treatment. But I read the test my mom had to take and not even Americans born here got all the answers right. We can move ahead with offering citizenship and paying taxes but let's not forget where we come from.

Illegal immigrants should be sent home. It would not be fair to the immigrants that spent months or years trying to LEGALLY enter this country to give the illegals the same rights or grant them citizenship.

I think ENGLISH should be the LEGAL US language! We've been speaking it for hundreds of years. We don't give Russians or Chinese or Germans the same leaway we give spanish speaking persons.

As for the 'wall', it's another way to waste US tax dollars. Put alligators (and poisonous snakes) in the river. We'll see how many illegals want to cross then. :)

Under Mexican law, Americans wishing to retire in Mexico must have an income of at least $ 2,000 a month, and business visitors must prove that they have an association with an established U.S. or Mexican company.

Maybe we should have the same law.

all immigrants wanting to stay permanently should take the citizenship testing, and become citizens and renounce their native citenship. they should pay taxes as the law states and abide by all laws and ways. it doesn't matter where you are from or what country you migrate to. cheap labor doesn't make up for billions in welfare.

Instead of coming up here and messing the US up, why don't they stay in Mexico and fix their own government up. We have our hands full trying to take care of our own government let alone deal with all the other bull . Clean up your own home.
