Suicide bombs are a daily occurrence in Iraq. We have nitrate sniffers at airports, so why not make use of such equipment in Iraq? Can they be installed on roving military vehicles? Are they only sensitive at close range? Take for instance those elemental chlorine bottles. They must come from a designated chemical processing location because it's not the same thing as Clorox bleach. There is a significant difference between Sodium Hypochlorite and elemental chlorine.

We the taxpayers are not paying for average rents. The average rent here is not what the people are charging for military people. Average nice place, Japanese size about $1200.00 a month USD. The military people are renting american size places that go for anywhere from $2000.00 to $4,000.00 a month. One of the reasons, a lot of these rentals are on beach front properties that get $4000.00 a month with american size and american appliances. The places have to have inspections and have to meet codes, american size, american toilets, refrigerators and so on. So if what you say is fact. Than as I suggest, we the taxpayers are getting taken for a ride. Overseas duty gets more pay and other things as well. If you are overseas you get extended leave to visit home, or you used to. There is way too much money being spent all of the world for this and it is a lot more then the $250 million you stated being spent on some airport. Thats my point of the post, accountabilty by the government.

I asked earlier if he should be arrested for this. In his own words he stated that he thought the killer had fled the campus. That is ridiculous. Did aliens tell him this? How could he know? There was a man loose on campus with loaded weapons killing people! He said the campus is too big and too many students to notify everyone. That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard! Instead of text messaging they should have had road blocks up preventing students from getting on campus and sirens and loudspeakers announcing everyone to get the hell off campus. That place should have been swarming with police after the first two killings. You can tell the I.Q. of America is slipping when the media is turning this terrorist into a victim! Young teenagers are openly scared of even thinking of going to a college or university with good reason! I'm glad I'm older. I feel sorry for the younger generation of this country and what they will have to face.

Remember when Americans were fighting for their freedom instead of fighting to give up their freedoms?

The government scares us into beliving things are bad for us so they can make laws against anything they dont like and so Americans will have less and less freedoms.

Why ignore your rights?

How many of you actually know the bill of rights and stand by it?

Why do people let the government corrupt them into beliving EVERYTHING is bad for us...

Setting laws against certain things does nothing. This has been proven with things such as probition.

Way too many people are innocently put to death even if just ONE person was wrongfully put to death that is one too many...

And why should the government be teaching people that if they want to try and get rid of a problem forever just kill it off because then it won't be able to give you any more problems?

I saw this poll on the myfoxla.com website and thought it was interesting.

I'm a little confused though---- Does gun control mean that we want more restrictions on who can get a gun or does it mean we want less restrictions?

Please answer the initial question and provide any information you can give me to clarify. Thank you!

It seems that the salaries of those who work for the UN are high. A lot of the police/soldiers who work for it are from developing countries where the police/military are corrupt so there must be a lot of corrupt police/soldiers getting good pay from the UN. I've heard that half of the funding into the UN goes to corruption in the countries its projects are located.

i do NOT want any more gun laws passed because of cho

i DO believe they should show unedited tape of him so we may make educated decisions on what went on in his mind.

I believe in personal freedom and personal responsibility, including your right to speak out, your right to an abortion, your right to practice religion without infringing on others rights to not have to hear it, i believe that an honest days work deserves an honest days pay, mandatory drug testing for people on government assistance programs, eliminate speed trap style revenue policing, traffic fines be used to improve infrastructure, not to pay for more cops and equipment, and free healthcare for all citizens.

what the heck party do i belong to? am i crazy?

The Democrats should lead a movement to rid the nation of automatic weapons and Republicans. Both are a danger to our society. One kills, the other creates massive deficits then wish to pass bonds for the rich to finance the defecits. The poor get to pay back the bonds. We need President Pelosi to right the course of the nation. 2 resignations will solve our problems.

Hi all. I need to raise money for an upcoming election, and I need a few ideas to jump start. Big fundraisers, ie: golf tournaments, dinners, etc., etc. are what I'm hoping to have - so that the money can be raised quickly.

Thanks so much for your advice!

President Bush said on April 10 that "Congress's failure to fund our troops will mean that some of our military families could wait longer for their loved ones to return from the front lines" OK so I don't know how you take this but it seems to me that longer deployments are entirely unacceptable RIGHT?

Then why did Sec. of Defense Gates say this the following day? All Soldiers in the U.S. Central Command area of operations will serve 15-month tours in the region beginning immediately, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates announced yesterday.
http://www.army.mil/-news/2007/04/12/2637-sec-gates-extends-army-tours-in-iraq-to-15-months/

That's an additional 3 months over the extended tours these men & woman of our Armed Forces are all ready serving, so why is it unacceptable on the 10th and OK on the 11th?
