I WAS FACED WITH THE SAME OR A SIMILAR DILEMMA WHEN WAS 18 YEARS OLD. IT WAS DURING THE VIET NAM CONFLICT, AND I HAD A DRAFT LOTTERY NUMBER OF 9. I KNEW I WANTED TO WORK ON AIRPLANES AND I ALSO KNEW THAT THE NAVY AND THE AIR FORCE WERE BOTH TOPS IN THE AEROSPACE FIELD. I CHOSE THE AIR FORCE, BECAUSE WITH THE NAVY, YOU WOULD GO TO SEA FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND NO WHERE TO GO TO GET AWAY FROM THE MILITARY SO YOU ARE STUCK ON DAMNED OLD SHIP.
THE AIR FORCE ON THE OTHER HAND FOR THE MOST PART WAS JUST LIKE HAVING A REGULAR JOB. 8 HOURS AND YOU ARE OFF FREE TO GO DOWNTOWN AND CHASE AROUND AND DO WHAT YOU WANTED WITH OUT THE MILITARY INFLUENCE ALL THE TIME. PEOPLE CAN TELL YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY BUT, YOU AREN'T SURROUNDED 24/7

If you want to be a helicopter pilot my suggestion would be to check out the army national guard. They produce the most specialized helicopter pilots. They will send you to school to fly helicopters (black hawks and so on). If you want to fly anything other than helicopters go to the Navy. Intelligence Officer go to the Navy and Public Affairs go to the Air Force.

If you want to be a helicopter pilot your chances are better in the Army. Intelligence Officers are equal in all branches. I don't know who shoe they find Public Affairs Officers under.

If you can't make pilot go for Intel.

If you want to be a helicopter pilot Marine Corps or Army, The other two choices can be done in any branch, so it's your pick. I hope you become an Air wing Marine like my hubby!!

I think the Army and Marines are the primary users of Helicopters. If that is your goal you should make sure the branch you select uses them in large numbers to increase your chances of being selected.

I would say the Air Force. I was in AFJROTC many years ago when I was in high school and it seems like your best bet for what you are looking for. Also I have been told by many that the Air Force is the best way to go, although I think it's all on personal preference.

You asked this question like 8 times already. Join the bloody Taliban for all I care. You just want to hear how much we appreciate your service, if you are for real, go to the freaking recruiters and get the info, make a decision and join ,stop pretending to join and just do it.

I would probably bet Air Force since you would get special training.

Good luck.
