It will take longer than 10 years, but I do not see any reason why India couldn't be in 20 years.

Depends how you define super power. For me, its more than military and economy. Can India tackle proverty and improve its basic infrastructure to match the USA or Japan over the next 10 years? I am not convinced.

India will be a super power if it adopts 1. Market economy (already it is) 2. adopts eugenic (applied human genetic) policies. China is already moving in this direction and started sperm banks of elite citizens.
