I think you should stay and help to teach yourself to fight off the urge. If you feel yourself becoming arroused by the children then you should just pick up the dog and leave and tell the children you're in a hurry. I think self-discipline will help you the most. Good luck just please don't hurt another child!! Also I think you should pray to God, he can help you resist the urge.
