Wouldn't it be better for everyone to have one, so we can have mutually assured destruction?

You almost never hear about lone gunwomen killing people at random. In fact, I can't recall ever hearing about one.

Is it primarily genetic or a cultural thing?

What do you think ? The guy committed his mass murders, left his "most important" message behind, and the media gives him all the airtime he could ever want or imagine ever having. Is the media, all pop media, furthering his agenda ? What do you think ?

Quote: Menachem Begin:

"Our race is the master race. We are divne gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. ..compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as slaves."

I am reading a biography of this man...He is still living. Some of the sources attributing such a statement to this man are named. I started my own personal research of these people because of certain things I had read in the Bible.
The more I read the more disheartened I become...

On June 20, 1977, Mr. Menachem Begin, head of the Likud party - after having won the Knesset elections (17 May 1977) - presented the new Government to the Knesset and became Prime Minister of Israel.

Isn't it smart for ordinary citizens to build up an arsenal? Thanks to bush's "ownership" society we have to provide our own protection now. Only commie libs expect the govt to do that for them, right?

To buy guns because people commit crimes with them and kill people.

Then should we take away Automobiles, Airplanes, Rope, Knives, Bats, Pillow cases, Phone cords, Cell phones, Flashlights, Oh I could go on and on.. These are all things that people have used to commit murder with. All these objects can be lethal, and take human lives all the time. But I don't see anyone willing to boycott A car, which has killed more people than guns.. Or Airplanes, take 9/11 for example 3000 people died in result of box knives and 4 airplanes, No guns were involved in that Massacre!!!

Or Kool Aid maybe? One of the biggest massacres in U.S. history involved Kool Aid poisned, should we watch out for that? Or Jonestown in Africa, they were all poisoned too.

Another thought, what about Cross bows, bows and Arrows? they can be pretty deadly.. are those o.k. or not with you Anti-gun people?

Because he blocked the door to give his students time to escape out of the window.
That says nothing but bravery to me.
I think he should be posthumously awarded. If it weren't for his actions, the death toll would have been much higher.

That's what conservatives are saying today.

The fact is - very few peaceful people WANT guns, but ALL violent crazy people want guns.

So the smart thing to do is to ban their sale and import.

The only way to stop these shootings is to make the public realize that "Manchurian Candidates" do exist, and the kids who are committing these tragic crimes are victims of government mind control. The purpose of the shootings is to inflame the public against guns so that they force Congress to pass restrictive gun laws.

Once the guns are out of the hands of the American public, another twist in random mayhem will begin. More programmed "Manchurian Candidates" will begin anarchistic attacks on the public using bombs, knives, fires, Molotov cocktails, baseball bats and any other item that can be used as a weapon. Anarchy will sweep the streets of the United States.

The public will be disarmed and unable to protect themselves. Therefore, the government will step in and become everyones protector and Big Brother! The government will do this by suspending the last threads of our barely surviving Constitution, declaring martial law, rounding up the dissidents, patrolling our streets with armed United Nations or NATO military, instituting curfew, and shooting anyone who disobeys any of the newly imposed laws. In other words, a totalitarian government will take control, and if you oppose them, you will be sent to the Gulags.

At 16, I never had the time to get my license cuz I was busy going to school and working 2 jobs to support my dying grandma. When she died, I was 18, forced to live in her car, and was unable to get my license due to the time I didn't have. I was soon pulled over after my grandma's registration expired. I was given a ticket for driving w/o a license, not being insured, and not having registration, but let me keep my car due to my situation. I went to court, and was given a fine that I couldn't pay. I asked for community service but the gal at the window told me it would be better to just pay it. Within that time, I was unable to get my license because I owed the court the fine, but I continued to drive. Soon, some1 hit my car, and the cops came. The cops asked for my license and registration, and my car was towed away, and I received another ticket as I moved on to the street. I'm 22 now, still struggling, have 2 warrants because I couldn't pay the fine or get the 2nd notice.

Isn't it curious that the parents of gun-murdered children dont really argue about keeping it easy to walk in and purchase a pocket sized gun of choice? I think those parents might know something more about it than the rest of us.

Will Bush finally look at political ways to end the sectarian violence in Iraq? 10 million troops could still not make Sunni's and Shia get along. Its not going to happen, the ambassador to Iraq admits it. Most of the politicians in Iraq know this. Yet bush still insists on getting Americans killed in the cross fire of a civil war. This is no longer about terrorism. Of the 800 attacks that occur each day in Iraq, almost ALL of them are sectarian violence. How many more good americans need to die before this country is sick and tired of an incompetent leader and his utterly incompetent plans?

On the morning of Jan 12, NB on Hwy 140, a two way street. a CHP clocked us coming from the opposite direction. We knew our tire was losing air when we left that morning, so we were conciously driving at a safer speed. When his lights went on we assumed we were being pulled for the flat. However he proceeded to tell us we were going 79. As he wrote the ticket back at his car, my Husband got out to check the tire, and found it to be almost completely flat.
After making this obvious to the officer,
#1 He showed no care or concern with our safety, or others on the road. He did not offer his help in any way, to make a phone call, lend a hand, or even mention the tire at all.
#2 Just before his lights went on, a speeding car passed us on the left. I believe this was who he clocked. Not being able to catch him on a two way hwy...well we were already pulling over. Oh, and he also left the scene before us.
We are doing trial by written declaration, any suggestions?

when every religious group believes God is on their side?

Different religions have different beliefs and even within religions you have different interpretations.

For example, northern liberal christians like the Quakers were among the first to fight against slavery. Southern conservative christians like the Southern Baptists Convention were for defending slavery. Both used the Bible to support their views.

Like big govt to make decisions on whether they will die from a seriously gone wrong pregnancy.

Yes, it is a fact that the national association of Obstetricians was intensely against banning partial birth abortions. But who do cons truth more with personal decisions and medical information? Pat Robertson and Bush.

Cons now demand that both the mother and baby die, rather than saving the mother.

Cons spew sh¡t that they are the party or personal responsibility and less govt, but everything they do in reality is in conflict with that BS.
