I think it has to do with America's divisive cultural perceptions of what a "MAN" is. Though nowadays we may not refer to a "sensitive" man as a sissy so much, he is still a "crybaby" Males are just more likely to repress feelings that may get the better of them when bottled up. Combine that with adolescent hormones, or just overactive hormones in general that cause depression and anxiety and you have a powder keg. Not as much emphasis is placed on women to keep their feelings bottled up. Not that I think we should have a bunch of weepy men, but that there should be more healthy outlets available to them.

That's great more division, I suppose you could make a case about this, but when was the last man caught driving into a lake with his kids in the back seat, or drowning their 5 children in the tub, or throwing the unwanted child into a dumpster... seems to me division is only good for dividing people

you must not live in Texas. Remember that whole cheerleader murder thing. One mom shot the mom or daughter of that was made a cheerleader instead of her daughter.
It's rare but it does happen. Just like woman who claim to have been abused and are afraid of leaving their man, but have no trouble pulling the trigger while the guy sleeps? Again it happens.

That is a good question. I suppose it might have something to do with our culture. According to our culture women are not supposed to be aggressive. I could have something to do with that.

Women shoot their husbands and say they were abused. That's not random killing. It's obviously a gender issue, and should be investigated.
