Global warming is not caused by humans, and a global "carbon tax" would not solve anything. In fact it would give more power to the elite globalists, who want to eventually instill a socialist world government - an end to the existence of countries, including the united states.

I remember people giving Bush a hard time for his tax breaks, saying that he's giving money to the rich blah blah. But Bush said he is giving tax breaks to companies so they will hire more people. Seems to be working.

I'm not all for Bush or anything, but something good is coming from him. lol

Do you think the tax breaks were a good idea?

N.Korea and Iran are the evils ones not the U.S and Isreal. If the Germans invented the A bomb before the Americans. The war would have been a billion times worse. But people think the Nazis are good and America is bad and Isreal. America and Isreal have been at alot of wars but that is becuse they care unlike Eruope. There are so many Shady credit card Co.'s anymore they almost make it hard to even make your payment!! They target persons with bad credit history knowing they will make money off them,, Since credit cards are basically a form of U.S. tender I feel the Government should step in and stop the rapping of the U.S. People! Please don't say well it's the peoples fault for not reading the contract,, it's beyone that! This is the biggest white collar crime of our time,, and nothing is being done! I wanted to pay my bill by check by phone 2 days prior to the due date, and they told me that would be an extra $10 for a convenience fee -So whom is that convenient to NOT me!!!

i got put on 5 yr felony probation 2 yrs ago for complicity to theft...the two other guys that got charged for theft that i was with got there cases dismissed..i was wondering if there is anything i can do to get off because it doesn't seem right that i got charged with compliciting to a crime that got dismissed. Its been almost 2 yrs since this has happened. Is it to late to try and get an appeal..or what? I don't even know how I would go about doing this or what the word is called. Any info???

Okay, The Corporations are greedy, The Government is greedy too. They both are in a power struggle. Corporations help our economy when they make money. The government hurts our economy when they make money. Now if terrorists hate our government. Corporates hate our government as well. Are terrorists really corporates? The reason for this question is our Government is fighting terrorists right? Well, the terrorists are making sure that we don't get control of the oil in the Middle East. Follow me on this. So if they're fighting the Government. You now obviously know who terrorists are....nothing but world wide corporates against our government. People will kill for oil and money. It's sad. On both ends, us as well. What are you takes on this?

#1 I am against illegal immigration and for sealed borders. Yet the vast majority of illegal immigrants only crime was crossing the border illegally and they are extremely hard workers pursuing the American dream.
I fear that ignorant outrage may eventually cause a pitchfork and torch effect.
I am a Conservative and I feel when an Illegal commits a crime they should be deported after they serve their sentence for their crime.
Though I am a big fan of Bill O'reilly I I believe his approach on this one is way too aggressive. He should continue to do what he believes though he should tone it down a notch.

Am I the only one here who is tired of hearing the Democrates and whinie liberals going on and on about how not enough is being done to rebuild New Orleans?? How about the residents of New Orleans who are still sitting around in free hotel rooms, and don't have a job yet, and can only feel sorry for themsleves. Are they capable of holding a hammer?? Can they not assist with the rebuilding of their own community??

I live in North East Ohio and in July 2006 entire neighborhoods were underwater. Trailers were washed down the river into Lake Erie. An entire condo complex was completely submerged. These people lost everything. But they didn't get national attention and they didn't sit around with their hands out waiting for the government to help them. They rolled up their sleeves, salvaged what the could and rebuilt elswhere.

Why, becouse without funds, they can not make war,they will come home,if you fund the troops ,you are funding the war and harming our soldiers.!! Do not be afraid of the lenguage of reps saying Dem do not support the troops if they do not fund them, that's the rederick to get the money to keep the war going, and is not support for their lives.

KInd of weird that one of the sailors said the following becuase how could he not recognize his fellow soldiers voice?

Who was this mysterious someone and how come that someone did not say I thought someome was sick and had his cut throat? Sounds like some bs to me. Were they going to cut throats or shoot? Which one is it? Get your stories straight laddies.

Lets see 25mpg at $3.00 100 miles cost $12

With a new Hybrid I would get 31.25 mpg and only spend $9.6

With a $2.40 per 100 miles I would save aproximately $25K bucks over the life of my Short Bus.

Amazing I can spend more and be superficially Green Or I can spend less and be Green

After 40 years of very careful study, I would like to see the following changes:

FBI Director nominees SELECTED and Director Approved by the U.S. Senate. Congress may offer up nominees. President has NO firing or hiring authority over ANYONE in the FBI. Director of FBI has a FIVE YEAR term.

Congress or Senate may appoint ad hoc Special Investigator AND his senior staff for any Congressional, Senatorial, OR Internal FBI investigation.

The Director, SOLELY, has hiring and firing authority, subject to legal review by the U. S. Judicial system. However, I recommend the Director have a committee from the FBI to sanction hiring and firing.

The U.S. Attorney General may continue to task the FBI.

The FBI then becomes the Senior Investigative Authority for ALL other U.S. Government activities. Appropriate liaisons continue with other entities: Secret Service, CIA, U.S. Marshals, etc.
