I know the UK has free medical care- does that not include free dental care as well ? If so, how come more Brits do not take advantage of this ? Or does all that tea rot their teath or do Brits just not have good oral hygiene ?

All stereotypes have some basis in truth. Pretty soon Abdul will be saying the french don't smell all that bad- they smell like roses, actually !

Do your research before insulting people. The National Health Service has changed in Britain. Most people cannot get free dental treatment and many people cannot afford around £20 per month, just to keep their names on a dentist's register. This may include 2 check-ups a year, but not treatment. My niece pays £60 per month, just to keep herself and 3 kids registered. I think you're the one with the oral hygiene problem. Comes from talking so much cr*p

The bad teeth thing is a stereotype and it's not true. Our teeth may not be at Hollywood standard, but they're fine. Look at Hugh Grant. Nothing wrong with his teeth.

Not all stereotypes are based on truth. Sure, the French smell, but our teeth are fine, OK?

Simple its not free, you still have to pay up to 60% of the cost and Brits pay for the National Health service out of their taxes and social security deductions. Lastly Brits base their opinions of people of their personalities not how pretty they look.

Its because that they call them "TOOTH BRUSH's.

The Brits get confused and think they are only allowed to use them, if they only have one tooth left.

Of course, you can tell the Tooth Brush was invented in Britian.

Because if it had been invented anywhere else, they would have called it a Teeth Brush.
