Lets see 25mpg at $3.00 100 miles cost $12

With a new Hybrid I would get 31.25 mpg and only spend $9.6

With a $2.40 per 100 miles I would save aproximately $25K bucks over the life of my Short Bus.

Amazing I can spend more and be superficially Green Or I can spend less and be Green

If I put a cute Hybrid logo on the Bus will people like me???

Based on the prices you quote, people will be doing this. And if you really do live in California, liberals will throw red paint on your new bus if don't faux a hybid.

Thermoelectric is the way to go, you wont need any fossil fuel source. Japan has a train that is thermoelectric that travels at 500 miles an hour. The French just reported they have built one too that does the same time.

Exactly,

For only a gillizon dollars the big car manufacturers can re-fit for the bio fuel and Ethanol burning autos. Then corn farmers can send more corn to become fuel and leave a lot less corn to send the worlds starving. To compensate for this they raise taxes again. See how it works?

Actually you could do a few modifications for under 1000 dollars that would give you probably better mpg than that new hybrid.

Now, that's what I like - a good "cost/benefit" analysis - but like any financial analyst, I'd have to check and recheck your assumptions and figures first.
