This new law goes into effect Sept 1st. You can shoot to kill someone that threatens you in your car or office. (Before it was just your home)

From what I understand, the use of lethal force is allowed for violent crimes like rape, or if your life is threatened, someone unlawfully trying to enter a protected place or removing someone from a protected place.

I have never understood why it appears that when a cop gets into trouble all police seem to feel that it is their right and their mandate to protect the bad cop. I'm trying to be open-minded and I understand that the world of a police officer is vastly different from most "civilians" but that still doesn't give them carte blanche to protect or cover up for scum just because they share a uniform - evil people are evil people no matter what their "dress code" is. And I'm talking about the blatant, no doubt type of behavior such as the Abbate cop in Chicago. How can anyone defend those type of actions? I even give police the benefit of the doubt when the situation is not one hundred percent clear one way or the other such as the recent shooting of the wedding party in New York. Come on, mean, vicious thugs are still that, even with a badge, and not to be simplistic about it but they do freely choose their profession. A rational answer from someone in law enforcement would be nice!

After the State Dept safely got the hostages out. Why did Raygun do nothing.

I understand the concern Iran would murder the hostages. But once they were free a little TIT for TAT would have been OK with this liberal.

Now Iran feels they can get away with what ever they like.

America like President William J. Clinton did - or will we get another Village Idiot like Bush who doesn't give a crap about anything other then himself and the GOP?

I'm not kidding. The public views the two major parties as teams, the high-ranking political officials as the star players. Does it sicken anyone else that we've reduced our political process to nothing more than entertainment? That we don't take it seriously AT ALL any more?

Will anyone else be convinced that human impact on global warming is real? Remember, Bush appointed many to the Supreme Court, and lost the only one considered to be 'liberal' (Sandra Day O' Connor, appointed by Reagan).

I had (by police) when I was being arrested but it was one of the scariest things ever. I think people might do stupid things out of nerves if this happens and cops do make mistakes.

Because today was a wake-up call, i came back from work, to see my garage door wide open, and i took my dagger and searched the house to be sure.

My boyfriend LOVES this movie and I'd like to get it for him for Easter so I need to order it ASAP!!

The problem is ~ where I CAN find it, no one is responding to my requests.

Any idea on where I can find this rare 1950's movie (not TV skit) for sale so that I can have it in time without paying way too much money? (ex: more than 40 bucks minus shipping)

Tried Amazon... ebay...

H-E-L-P!!!! Please!!!!

He is really sweet and much deserving of the search.

Thanks and have a great day!

PS ~ I am sweet enough for the search too LOL! =-)

Thank you everybody!!
