Will anyone else be convinced that human impact on global warming is real? Remember, Bush appointed many to the Supreme Court, and lost the only one considered to be 'liberal' (Sandra Day O' Connor, appointed by Reagan).

cvq, the ruling dealt with the authority of the EPA, but the written opinion of support dealt with the impact of humans on global warming

I didn't see the ruling yet. Did it address the powers of the EPA to regulate, or actually make a finding of fact as to man-made climate change? I assume it was the former and not the latter, but it's just a guess.

Many on the Republican side, including Bush and Arnold (California) have said it needs to be researched and addressed.

PS What reason could there possibly be for NOT trying to conserve - not waste - energy? Nothing wrong with that, folks, no matter what you think about this particular issue.

I assume the impact is real. I just am not assured that the consequenses are as drastic as presented.

It will be interesting to see how people handle getting hit will a huge bill on their SUVs
