I am conducting a survey for my AP US History class that will be used to determine the general opinion of the populace towards the events that unfolded regarding the Nixon Watergate Scandal. Participants are asked to be at least of the years 50+ and have some sort of first-hand opinions towards the questions. I don't have easy access to first-hand knowledge.
1. What do you remember most about Nixon's presidency?
2. When Watergate first surfaced did you believe it was true? Why?
3. How did you react when you heard the evidence against Nixon?
4. What role do you think the media had in the Watergate affair?
5. How did you feel about Nixon's resignation?
6. What do you think would have happened if Nixon hadn't resigned?
7. How politically active were you in the 70s?
8. What did you think of Nixon Prior to the Watergate Scandal?
9. Explain how your view of Nixon changed or didn't change after the Watergate scandal.
10. Can you compare the Watergate scandal to anything recently?

Nancy Pelosi wants more undocumented workers in the U.S. .

(The agendist media does not tell you undocumented workers kill over 9,000 Americans yearly. The media is making money off of the new Spanish audience. Only small conservative TV news broadcasts are telling of the crimes committed by undocumented workers. ABC, CBS, and NBC did not report that a serial rapist (who is an undocumented worker) was attacking in the San Francisco area. They didn't even announce when he was caught. Only an independent station covered the police information. )

Or is it just more of the same on a larger scale? We are still trying to train the Iraqi's to take care of themselves.. we are still trying to hold of insurgents at the same time.. it's the same plan with more boots.. I don't support more of the same.. Give me something different that looks like it actually might work and I might support it.. even if it takes our troops being there.. but why try more of the same policy that hasn't worked for 4 years?

My son who is 17 was charged with tresspassing, along with about 50 other kids some minor some over 18. What happened is that in school a rumor started that a fight was going to happen in a parking lot of a local building. All these kids went to watch. The fight never happened, nothing was damaged or nobody got hurt. The police showed up, and blocked all the kids in and gave them tresspassing charges. Well to try and make this shorter, we wind up paying the fine of $142.00 and now we are wondering if when he goes to fill out any application for jobs, college or finicial aid for college or any other thing that may come along, does he have to say yes he has been arrested before? We were told by some people that he would have to write yes, and then other people have told us no, it is only a summary offense and it will be no harm to him in the future and he should not have to write that he has been arrested. I am confused on the terms or severity of this? Please help me understand!

I see here in yahoo very fierce discussions that explode into debates and some of the strongest activity I have ever seen. Now if politics are such a hotbed here how can the USA as a whole have such a piss poor voter turn out every election?

I thought I better put a warning in the topic header as this is a very sensitive subject.
I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is required by law to bury a stillborn baby? What about a pre-term fetus?
At what gestational age does a fetus need a death certificate issued? What happens if you can't afford to bury the remains, where do they go?
I know these are such morbid questions but, I was always curious about it and I didn't want to ask anybody in fear of offending them.

the Bush Administration over and over we can win the war on terror win in fact you can't. deter it yes stop it totally no way. terrorism has been with us for ages and bush makes it like it's something we aint used to here in america. When in fact we have handled terrorism but getting rid of it will take a more global effort and a lot of education. What makes someone terrorize is by what they think is the right way of doing things. You would think by now america would create a terrorism task force but we haven't and we continue to take on terrorism in the wrong approach. Terror is not like any other war we have had it's different why can't this president and vice president realize this????

Had a crash in my sister in laws car .(not my fault!) and assumed I was 3rd party covered on my company comp policy. I'm not.. nor it would appear am I on my wife's and spouse comp policy on the other car. The police have given me a producer.
Am I in for six points and a fine and where do I stand with the other driver? Can I still pursue a claim against this driver?

Dick Cheney is a moron, He comes out of hiding all the time hehe protecting the bush agenda which is full of scandals and lies. In todays speech he said it's important for our troops to remain in Iraq and win the war. what war is he talking the war on terror??? He needs to realize that the war on terror is a global effort and you can't win terror. I am sorry we can deter terrorism but defeating it will take skill and centuries. Terrorism has been with us for ages goes all the way back to the roman times. This is a different kind of war we are taking on, Cheney thinks this is like a vietnam war which is bullshit , it's not. You can't kill someone who straps dynamite to there body and blows themselves up, I mean you can search the people for devices but most people slip through cracks. No matter if we stay or go from Iraq some kind of civil war will break out and it's only gonna get worse now that Iran is demanding we leave Iraq.

I am a pro-life liberal that can't help but think, do conservatives see American fetuses as more important than Iraqi Childeren? (5000 Iraqi childeren die every month due to starvation and wounds form bullets and bombs)
I do not trust the government with the death penalty but can't see why conservatives think it's o.k. to let these oil barrons who support terrorism live and enjoy life while we just turn our heads and look the other way.
