Dick Cheney is a moron, He comes out of hiding all the time hehe protecting the bush agenda which is full of scandals and lies. In todays speech he said it's important for our troops to remain in Iraq and win the war. what war is he talking the war on terror??? He needs to realize that the war on terror is a global effort and you can't win terror. I am sorry we can deter terrorism but defeating it will take skill and centuries. Terrorism has been with us for ages goes all the way back to the roman times. This is a different kind of war we are taking on, Cheney thinks this is like a vietnam war which is bullshit , it's not. You can't kill someone who straps dynamite to there body and blows themselves up, I mean you can search the people for devices but most people slip through cracks. No matter if we stay or go from Iraq some kind of civil war will break out and it's only gonna get worse now that Iran is demanding we leave Iraq.

I think Cheney was talking about the war in Iraq, not the greater war on terrorism. I agree that we cannot defeat terrorism but I am pretty sure it is the Dems that have being saying this is like the war in Vietnam. In fact I had a very liberal professor who said the wars were exactly the same.
Iran wants us to leave Iraq because once we leave they will go in and take over the country. They are already fighting against us in Iraq. There will not be civil war if we leave. Iran will make sure of that.
