I do not know anyone who is pro-war.
War is a necessary evil. I am interested if you have that figure from a trusted source. There have been many poor statistical studies that have been politically motivated, so I would hate to see you duped by erronious figures.
I agree with you on the death penalty, to a point. It is not that I do not trust the government with the Death Penalty, it is that I do not believe that "the people" have the right of execution.
Regarding the oil barrons supporting terrorism, I do not know what you mean. Terrorism endagners their profits, so it would be counter-productive for them to help torrorism. When oil companies make about .03-.07 per gallon profit, and the government makes .6-.9 profit from the sale of gasoline, I think you should look to those who tax gasoline more than the companies that sell it.
I support the war because it is the right thing to do. It was right to end tyranny, and to help the people of Iraq create a government of the people and by the people. A strong nation in the Middle East that owes itself to American sacrifice is a good ally to have for the new age.
What I always think is so funny is that people always look to the evil oil companies in some grand conspiracy theory, but yet ignore two important facts.....
1. 20 mi. outside of Babylon the infrastructure to connect Europe and Asia for internet access on the same hardwire is being laid, right now.
2. The UN is discussing leaving New York, and one place they are considering is a location outside of the ruins of Babylon, because of its central global location.

"5000 Iraqi childeren die every month due to starvation and wounds form bullets and bombs". and this is Americas fault? Wait... Just the Conservatives. Some people would say that we are in Iraq fighting so that these kids no longer have to live in such impoverished areas where guns, bombs and starvation run rampid.
You are comparing apples to oranges with your comparison of Aborted fetuses and Iraqi Children.

Cite your source -- where did you come up with that number? And how many of these children are being killed every month by American soldiers? Let me answer that one for you: The average is LESS THAN FIVE A MONTH. Take that and multiply it out over the course of the entire Iraqi war and you have more people dying on 9/11 than children in Iraq over the last five years.
How can one be pro-life and pro-war at the same time? Here's how it works: Being pro-life means you're opposed to the state-sanctioned murder of innocent children whose only crime is that they were conceived by a pair of irresponsible parents who now feel it is their RIGHT to evade their responsibility. Being pro-war does NOT mean that you support the killing of innocent Iraqis or Afghanis or Somalians or whoever, but it DOES mean that you believe in our right to defend ourselves against terrorists and oppressive totalitarian rulers who support terrorism.
P.S. GET OFF the old, tired, completely false "We're fighting a war for oil" mantra. Have gas prices gotten any better since we invaded Iraq? Are we getting more oil from Iraq now? Will we be getting more oil from Iraq any time soon, and will it be any cheaper than the rates OPEC has set? No, no and NO. Stop insulting the collective intelligence of the American people. This war has NOTHING to do with oil. It has EVERYTHING to do with protecting the American people.

If you cannot tell the difference between the two issues then you have little or no logical processes left to you.
But, I sincerely think you probably can tell the difference, but that you hate Bush and any war so much that you will grasp at any negative association you can come up with to justify your position.
The more I watch liberals in congress, the more I hear from the biased left wing media, and the more I hear from you people, the more I think that you are all either insanely silly or that you are psychotically compulsive.
Take your pick. You have long ago past the point that your rhetoric means anything, and reflects worse on YOU than on Bush, his administration or conservatives.

I don't think you can easily equate the two. A true (to the max) pro-life person would be against all behaviors that take life (perceived or otherwise) away-- war, cap. punishment, abortion, euthanasia, etc..
But in the real world, wars happen and are sometimes necesary evils. An abortion is by choice in some cases. Those who get killed in war arenn't necessarily by choice or by design. War is a dirty business and civilian casualties happen.
Anybody is who is pro-war in general is an idiot. that is-- support for any war for any reason and seek to go to war. But there will be people who support justified wars for specific reasons.

You take care of your own first. Most of the carnage in Iraq is done by insurgents and Iraqis, not Americans. They are killing their own, we aren't. Therefor all these children you say are dying are caused by their own people. Now to abortion, abortion is nothing but a get out of jail free card for women that have the choice to make educated intelligent descicions but decide to do something stupid. That is not a war, just a legal way to murder someone masking it as a right.

thats easy,
a fetus is a person with all potential this means that he could be the person to find a cure for aids, the next pope, or someone that brings around world peace, we dont know.
however the soldiers in these wars have had there potential removed by years and years of "education" and lack the potential to do good.

Because there's a world of difference between war and abortion. Making it out to be like they're the equivalent of each other is a riot.
