ever failed, scored low in training, lied, broke the rules or anything like that.

I'm asking because I finally want to do something important with my life after all these years of being a slacker. What i'm saying is that I want to be a part of the military. I don't want to be the guy with the gun, but I would be honored to support those brave guys with the guns fighting out there.

So my question is this: Have you ever known, met or heard of anyone who was given one job, such as a desk job administering paychecks and then all of sudden, in the middle of his duty, been reassigned to a job such as infantry?

Not that I think that infantry is a bad job...just the opposite actually, I think it's one of the coolest things a person could do; they do the duty most guys couldn't even fathom. So my question remains: Have you ever met or heard of someone who'd been assigned one job, and without his consent, was put in a job he didn't want to do, such as the infantry division?

What do you think ? How will the new soldiers and modern armies of the world look like. Will they use laser rifles , guns and such , full body armors or some sort of power exoscelets . Usa army is developing some of those projects . I'm not talking about 20 feet tall robots or Gm super soldiers. Please be realistic.

If my dad cannot sign his signature... and cannot make a consistent answer on whether or not he wants a pacemaker, can my sister legally sign a form stating the surgery can be performed if there is no health care proxy in place? Thanks for your answers.

So far, I'm told by an orthopedic specialist that I have a compression fracture in my lower spine. The cause was an auto accident. I was a trucker with Schneider National. I drove as a team with another driver. I was asleep in the bunk, as my partner was driving, when a pickup truck went left of center and hit us nearly head on. We were both traveling at 65 MPH. We managed to escape before our semi burned to the ground in a matter of minutes. Two of the four occupants in the pickup truck were killed. We lost all of our personal property in the semi, of which $3,000 worth was mine. The other party only carried a $20,000 auto insurance policy, both property and bodily injury. Schneider National is taking most of it with a $150,000 claim. I currently have a worker's comp. attorney, but I don't have any idea what sort of settlement will be reached at this point. My back pain has been consistent for the past 6 months and seems to be worsening.

How many people have the Opticom System in their towns or the towns surrounding them? If so How many towns around you have them? (OptiCom is a system designed to change the traffic light usually to green when a Fire engine, ambulance or police car approaches. It usually has a little black sensor and sometimes light on top of the light post as an indicator.)

I work at a pre-school, and a colleague is being bullied. Each member of staff are ok on their own but when they are together then ***** and back-stab. The woman I consider the ring leader is 2nd in charge and bestmates with our boss do you think this will make it harder if she complained? If my colleague took my advise and complained would it be better for her to go it alone or me go in for support as I'm the only one thats on her side I fear this may look like a conspiracy. What do you think?

Sorry about that last question. Got censored. Question is do liberals feel that when someone talks about the war on terr0r, they think only of Al Queda. Do they realize that Al Queda is not the only terr0r group in the world? That supporting terr0rist doesn't necessarily imply you helped with 9/11? That by providing money to ist in Palestine you aid terr0rists?

Lets say i screwed around in school all my life and didn't take anything seriously. Now I want to join the air force but have little educamacation or practical skills (such as electronics, engineering, or mechanical) and I get a p*ssy desk job. Then while in the air force I also take classes and study up on something such as mechanics, after two years can I take a test or something to prove i'm knowledgable in another area besides pushing paper and try to get a more skilled job?

My boyfriend recently had his psycho ex-girlfriend tell him she was pregnant and that she would put him on child support... the thing is, she said she had been pregnant for about 2 months now and just told him she hadn't been on birth control for a while. He feels trapped knowing that she told him a child isn't what she wanted right now, but she also didn't have the integrity to let him know she wasn't on birth control anymore. I'm wondering if the child is really his being that she waited 2 months later to tell him, and knowing that when they were together she cheated on him numerous times with plenty of other guys.

We feel she's only doing this because she doesn't want him to be happy with me (or any other girl), and she's jealous and crazy too. Not to mention she does need the money. Can he defend himself in any kind of way? What are the most beneficial or easier options if we have to agree to his child support? We're both 19.

I have seen many servicemen from England and the U.S. over the years paraded on TV by their captors and of all of those, I have never seen them smiling and laughing and sooo excited to disagree with their governments than I have from these Brits over the past week. I'm not sure they are being so coerced by the Iranians.

The NeoCons stipulated that Iraqis would benifit from America's invasion, and would be better served than they were under Saddam. However a comparison of the death and dislocation that has occured within Iraq since 2003 provides an interesting contrast. (Over 2 million refugees having fled the country, and an estimated 600,000 killed with countless thousands injured and wounded). And if we compare what that would mean if we translate the figures into similar numbers for the United States it becomes frightening, with over 23 million forced to flee and over 7 million killed. It is difficult to find the success from our invasion, when one sees the death, destruction, and dislocation that has resulted.
