What in the hell is wrong with yall in the politics section?
Whats with the "LIEberals" and "repuglicans" nonsense?
Am I the only one who notices that this is somethin youd expect in a damn elementary school??? Arent we adults here? What does this stupid name-calling accomplish?
Please, if theres any kind of real reason for this second-grade behavior, I'd love to hear it.

My point wasnt that we're all over 18, my point is that this is political section, where I'd expect more rational discussion than knee-jerk, mean-spirited, and really childish attacks.
I'd expect this kind of thing from a 7 year old.

I am 15 and have a very logical political view on things. Even though I want to, I do not participate in this on line taunting. I am also not a liberal or conservative. I an a libertarian.

I can explain the REPUGLICAN part. I don't have any idea what Lieberals is all about. Repuglican started out as a typo, I liked it, it really is not meant to defame anyone or as an insult. Some more sensitive people on their own accord probably do get offended by it but I really do feel that is their problem. I have been using it for over a year now and is sort of my trademark. I really don't think it is name calling as such because it really has no hidden or overt meaning, basically it is a misspelling that is all. .
Edit: Goldenrae9 has the correct answer, it is nonsense, don't be so sensitive.

Spending time on any Internet discussion forum on politics is a complete waste of time. I love politics, have a Bachelors degree in Polisci, but almost NEVER come here. It's like interacting with 10 year olds, literally. Really, what it comes down to is that people just don't know what they are talking about, they are misinformed and uninformed but they actually believe they have knowledge!!! But it's just too frustrating to deal with 10 year olds to me so I pretty much stay away.

You expected rational discussion in the policital section? That's a little naive even for a second grader

They want to pretend that they know what is the best interests of the world when in fact, they only know what is best for their own self interests. Just like a 2 year old. That is why we have to baby them and come down to their level so that way they can try to understand what we are trying to tell them.

Yeah, you would think that more people would use their own thoughts in here instead of being so hung up on party-lines.
I would like to point out however: Isn't it a bit hypocritical to insult people, when you are complaining about their insults to others.
Just a thought...

lol! immature ppl are funny....
here is my favorite one, though: once I was campaigning for my history teacher, who was running in the congressional primaries. I asked a fellow his political party, and he looked me dead in the eye and said "libertine."
(if you don't think this hilarious, look up the definition at www.dictionaries.com)
