If we had that we would have no diversity, all cultures would be exactly the same. What I think is that countries should work together and not bomb each other for power-like Bush-but should work together in order to resolve conflicts. I also think that instead of countries there should be provinces, united under the same rule but each province headed by the leader of a modern day country. The world should be governed by a type of world United Nations. Unfortenetly, that's not gonna happen anytime soon, so unless someone takes action, it will all lead to nothing.

No. You run into too many problems when everyone is under the same country (and same government). Even in the USA, minorities are are subject to discrimination. What we need is a change in mind-thought, not unification as one country. To join everyone together is to lose part of what make us special.... our differences. If you are suggesting this as way to world peace and prosperity, then examine large nations and see that within their borders there is still fighting, discrimination, and injustice. These things cannot be eliminated by just uniting into one country. They can only be eliminated on a personal level.

There is just to much diversity in cultures and religion for this to ever take place. We do need to learn to get along. I would like to see the United Nations reformatted to be more indicative of its name. There should not be a big four with veto power, everything should be put up as a fair and equal vote by all nations of the world. They should also be ways to bite country's that do not heed the international peace code. .

The entire history of the world involved nationalism. Many times, it was because of geographic separation, but look at Europe. You have Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and a few smaller countries and the only borders are artificial, meaning created by man. Each country has its own history and tradition. Doing away with all of that would be criminal to the history of the planet. I think that we need more tolerance of our differences, though. After all, it's those differences that have made us who and what we are.

That seems what people want. Their Republican leadership increased the size of govt by 40% the last 12 years and puts us right in line to follow the model of Europe. Now we just need taxes raised to 70% and the government to continue to dictate what jobs we can have, schools we can go to and Dr. we can see. Then we can all unite under the European Union, as the Republicans seem to want.

You are talking about Bible Prophecy yet to be fulfilled. The Antichrist will be the world leader. He will unify all religions, all economies, and governments of all nations as one in a unified war against God, His Son Jesus Christ, and His Believers.

Prophecy casts its shadow in front of it before it gets fulfilled. That is why you hear words like One World Government and global.

That is why you are asking this question.

No, I do not think the world should unite. When it does, it marks the end of the human race.

It will never happen and the reason is everyone in each country is too proud to give up their heritage. Just like if your state and the state next to you merged, would you be happy? Or if you neighor came over and staked your home for his, would you be happy?

I don't think so. So there will never be the United Union of World States.

No, I am cuban, we have a diffrent culture over there, as do other countries all over the world. How could we take all that diversity and put it into one whole country??? It wouldnt be right. And, the country wouldnt be peacefully, everyone would be mad at this idea.

Not that there is a chance, but, one country would be no country when it came to the has and has nots. That would assume that all governments would agree. That would be the ultimate stumbling block.

Ok, now you sound like a Neoconservative, ala Reagan and Bush.

You are hereby ordered into a US Constitution Re-Education Prison Camp where you will learn to love and respect people, particularly those of other nations.
