They were scattered throughout the world thousands of years ago. Apparently by their god who they must have pissed off royally.

So 1947-48 rolls around and all of a sudden they have a right to a homeland??? How does that work?

Can I claim a right to your house and walk in with a gun and force you out? Or do I need an old dusty set of scrolls where it is "written" that i have a right to your house.

Just asking cause i don't get it.
Please don't get me wrong I don't hate anyone, not in the least bit. So please try and avoid calling me names.

Doesn't peace start with atonement? And in this case would that start with the Israelis? The Arabs were just hanging out riding camels before 1947 living side by side with Jews in the land now called "Israel" Then all of a sudden the Jews (with the help of the Allied powers, who were punishing the Arabs for picking the wrong side in WWII) decided they had a right to a homeland and kicked the Palestinians out of their homes and off their land.

let's say you're a moderate democrat, and your friend became a born again intelligent-design ravenous republican neo-con shouting "halleluiah" at your parents all the time?

Or you're just a normal Bible belter and your friend embraced loony left socialism and started protesting to save some psycho on death row?

or whatever... would you ditch a friend because you disliked their politics?

Any open minded American can realize the war in Iraq is not for freedom and democracy. We killed hundreds of thousands of people there and 3 thousands of ours died for no reason.

Our democracy and freedom are not endangered in any way by the Iraqis.

Is it possible that we stay there for... oil ?

Ok, what exactly gives the Israelis the right to a homeland?

Or an illegal war for that matter? Bush did NOT do anything that would make it his war alone, or illegal. We elected him (twice), we elected the rest of the governmet officals, and they SUPPORTED the war in Iraq when they passed the Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq. The House of Representatives adopted the resolution on October 10, 2002, by a vote of 296-133.
The Senate adopted the resolution on October 11, 2002, by a vote of 77-23. So why are people jumping to the other side now and saying that this war is illegal and/or Bush's War?

We were told that the victims at the pentagon could be identified by fingerprints and DNA, yet at WTC, the fires melted steel.

What kind of fire is that ? It melts steel at WTC on 9/11 but not human bodies at Pentagon...

That's a funny fact in the commission report...

It happened to my friend.. she was in the backseat, they refused to even buckle her seatbelt. They pulled another car over on the way back to the station... She told me she could sue.. So I'm just seeing if it's really illegal or not.

I tried to find some but could not. There are plenty liberal/left-wing organizations like the ACLU, NAACP, CORE, SNCC, ADA, SCLC, AFL-CLO, and various communist groups too. People forget, but MLK Jr was often accused of having ties to communists.

I know at the very least these conservative groups opposed civil rights:

"Southern Bloc"
The name given to a group of ((CONSERVATIVE)) southern Democratic Senators, and one Republican Senator (John Tower of Texas), who opposed passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The southern bloc was led by Senator Richard Russell of Georgia.

Southern evangelicals, however, resisted the infusion of religion into politics, and fearful of northern evangelical attempts to equate the Kingdom of God with the Republican Party, lent their support to the Confederacy, following the perception of Republican impositions upon the Southern states. In short, religious language and imagery, as adopted by the nation’s political parties, contributed significantly to the coming of the Civil War.

Was America’s use of religious images to justify our military response different in kind from Al Qaeda’s invoking of jihad? Is the link between organized religion and war historically as well as theoretically inevitable?

Still, the popular press, particularly since 9/11, has discovered that not only realpolitik, economics, or dictators but organized religion can play a major role in war close observers of America’s response to 9/11 would have you notice the phrase "GOD BLESS AMERICA " like we have God on our side .

I'm Sure that some of you will say he is No longer relevant, but was sadame any more when the US went into Iraq? Was he killing Americans? Was he attacking anyone at the time? Was he a real threat when he couldn't even fly planes over his own country? Bin Ladden is still at large, His group is still attacking people all over the world. Including US troops, His organization is funding in large part, the **** in Iraq, Don't dismiss him as irrelevant he is doing half of what your fighting to prevent. Why are there not more troops in the area where he is believed to be hiding? Didn't Bush say in the past that he would go where ever it took to get him,and that he would not be swayed by borders ? Even saying he would go into Pakistan if necessary, Why has the hunt for him been all but suspended ? Does he have secrets that the us Government doesn't want known ?

It continues to amaze me that after years of only making claims by leftist groups that George Bush lied about starting the Iraq war without ever producing one shred of verifiable evidence that so many people still hold on to the myth that our President lied about this. Heck, even the 9/11 Commision report, as biased as it was did not support such a theory. Are people just that full of hate or what?

I have this report to do on WWI biplanes but i forgot how they syncronized the machine guns! I know it had something to do with a lever between the propeller shaft & the gun's firing pin, & the process was too expensive so most pilots like Roland Garros took their chances with the propeller being hit. But what the heck did the lever do to the gun to do tht?

We did the same with 911, right? Somebody destroyed twin towers, and we are now killing somebody, even if it's another "somebody". God bless us, we have the truth, we have democracy, we are against all evil.
