Last I checked they were were a couple years behind. Unfortunately, there are so many applicants from the Philippines, China, and India that the retrogression will be in place for quite some time.

The Philippines is in the stage of retrogression because of corruption and continuing support of the people for the wrong politicians.

Retrogression is what happens when the priority dates have to be re-coordinated with the numerical limitations on certain types of immigrant visas, and the dates go backward. It will be over when the numbers finally coincide again. No one knows when that will be; it depends on how many extra visa were issued.

Funny, no one ever complains when they go forward suddenly ....
