i was just wondering if anyone knows how bad her cancer is, like how much can the treatment do. im just curious because its really sad that it came back and i hope shes ok : (

If I just joined the Army artillery as an airborne 13f and am leaving in a little less than 30 days. How long do you think it will be, between boot camp, individual training, jump school etc. before I will leave the country to Iraq or wherever I end up being stationed. Do you think I will be able to go before 08?

Say the landlord has know for at least 2 years that your neihbors are extremly filthy and have now infested your apartment with bugs like roaches, fleas, and specifically bed bugs. Shouldn't they ethically and out of good consience compensate you for the pain and inconvience of their tenants? Possibly by reducing the rent for a few months until the problems have been fixed and/or the people are evicted.

In Texas, is a will considered to be legal if the person simply types his wishes and signs it, maybe even having a notary to sign it also, then keeps it in his files at home? This person owns no home, property, or anything of value except his vehicle and computer, and has no or very little savings, and a small life insurance policy. He wants to leave everything to his common law wife with the assurance that his kids (who never return his calls or never visit in years) do not try to take the insurance money from his "wife".

i heard that most people try to work from the ground up.. they started as a cadet, but i realized that people that work in the lab doesnt require to have any police/ cadet experience since they only work in the laboratory. so how can i start as a lab assistant?

Do you think the government should be able to tell you if you are allowed to have an abortion or not? Do you think that South Carolina should force women to look at pictures of the fetus before having this procedure done?

What can be done to stop unwanted pregnancies (I know the obvious answer) or at least reduce the numbers.

If these women are being intimidated into having these babies, who will take care of them? Would it be better to allow them to have abortions rather then to allow them to suffer with parents who don't love them or can't take care of them? Or to remain in an orphanage? Not all of them will be adopted.

It's sad either way. I'm interested in intelligent thought provoking conversation and answers to think about. Not pictures of abortions or nasty/uneducated comments.

I hope someday the polarization in this country between the two parties, as is displayed in quite some detail here in the archives of Y!A, can be put aside for a second on issues such as abortion and stem cell research so that we can focus on the task at hand. This war.

Some want withdrawl, some want us to stay, some just want something to be accomplished. Thats where im at, I just want this country to regain its good name as the beacon of freedom and democracy in the world, I want us to win this war but that doesnt necessarily mean eradicating the enemy necessarily. I want for this war to mean something, and go down in History as the conflict that changed things.
It doesnt matter if you liberal or conservative, what we need in this country are Real Americans: A person who loves there country, is a good honorable men, and makes decisions based on the better good, not on money or politics.
How can we ever accomplish such a complicated task?

Not by simply bashing Bush

my dad is 58 and my mom is 61. They don't have any health insurrance. They have green cards and we just come to US 2 yrs ago so we dont know well about paperwork for these things. Btw, we are living in San Jose CA. They are sick now and then but our incomes is low so we cannot afford for seeing doctor. Please show me where i can apply the health insurrance for them or some way we can have finance support in medical? Please help! Thank you so much.

I hired an unlicensed contractor to build 4 yard gates, install 3 bedroom doors, install two lights, hang up blinds, and install baseboards and trim. I paid him and he hasnt completed all the jobs or to my satisfaction. The gates open outwards and the latch is on the outside of the yard, he didnt put the bedroom door handles back on, and he didnt hang up the blinds. What are my options? (and please dont say i should have waited till the job was done because I know it was a mistake.)

Just curious.

If you video tape a firefighter, a EMT, a soldier or marine, OBGYN, just about anyone doing their job, they are PROUD of their work.

But if you try to video tape a police officer doing his job, he will do EVERYTHING in his power to make you stop.

Why is that?

I am currently enlisted into the Marine Corps DEP, i have to pick my MOS soon and i dont know what i want to choose, but i have narrowed it down between BX- Network Security/MAGTF planner and 03- Infantry. I like aspects of both these jobs but i dont know which to pick. The BX looks good for any other technical related jobs imight go into while Infantry is good fun and a physical lifestyle. If anyone can offer me some advice or anthing i'd be appreciative.
