If I just joined the Army artillery as an airborne 13f and am leaving in a little less than 30 days. How long do you think it will be, between boot camp, individual training, jump school etc. before I will leave the country to Iraq or wherever I end up being stationed. Do you think I will be able to go before 08?

After basic training, you still have to go through AIT to be trained in your MOS. After that, if you haven't had a leave, you get two weeks, after that you can get deployed overseas, or remain here in the states.

More than likely you can be deployed before the end of 07, if you start now, or as you say, in thirty days.

It all depends. Bootcamp, and AIT take a huge chunk and if you have to go to jump school that is more training. It also depends on you company and where they place you.

It all depends on which company you will be joining and their mission schedule, but how things are going, and the branch and mos you joined, be prepared for it.
