And the guys that preceeded this generation of grunts, they were boneheads ?
Your attitude reminds me of a drawing I once saw. It was a huge outline of New York City, covering about 80%of the canvas. The remaining 20% was hardly even legible except for the very bottom, which said: Pacific Ocean. The caption of the drawing was: Map of the United States!
:Like so many New Yorkers who believe the universe was put here specifically for them, you believe that todays military couldn't possibly be anything but the best !
We older grunts of yesteryear may take issue with your assessment. You squids with sand still in your boots can learn a few things from us old salts, that is, if you can get your head out of your butt long enough to listen !

Really? Because the Bible says that God will destroy all of the worlds armies on the day Jesus returns. So do you want to be carrying a rifle on that day?
If people would get in touch with their morals and ethics there would be no military. Can we all grow up now and stop playing army?

One of the reasons we are the best is because we now have thousands of young veterans that know how to fight and can teach the next generation. Let the world fear the US military. Let them worry about what we might do if they make us really mad.

Definitely; too bad the military can't do their thing without interference from the bleeding heart civilians that want it all without bloodshed.
America Rocks
Add on: to mr muslim, God can be the Christian God or the Muslim God or even the Hindu, Jewish, or Shinto. Guess you need to read up on your religion (maybe?).
According to the scriptures God has nothing against killing but doesn't seem to care for murder; gotta go back and read the original commandments as it was "thou shalt not murder" not "thou shalt not kill".
America Still Rocking!

I don't really get the question, but from a Viet Nam Vet, thank you for your support of our military. I had 23 years of a really great life. Once a soldier....always a soldier.
