Because of their ideoolgoy's mix.
1.They are told by most leaders in the middle east you Convert or kill the Infidel.
2.They think everything should be islam
3.They opose pork and say it is unclean and i love pork and so do many people.
4. Their intolerance to EVERYTHING
That is why they cant coexist with most religions.

Says who ? There is no religion which considers itself superior than others. They all have their foundations laid on love, faith & peace. It is just that if you accept Islam you have to follow the principles. There is no ignoring or missing the key guidelines.
Apart from that, no religion will tell you to live in isolation. It is actually fanatics who draw a demarcation line between themselves & rest of the World. Worse, they do it in the name of God as if God came down & asked them to ill-treat others.
All the religions are age-old & will go on because they all teach humanism.

There is a fundamental concept sown in the Islamic mind that there is only one God - Allah and his belivers are muslims.
That far is good but as to the extention of the one God faith, the religious advocacy goes further to describe 'kafir' the one who betrayed ie., the non-believer of Allah and it is religiously right to all Islamic believers doing away with all non-believers and its 'Jihad' a sacred act of warfare wiping off all non-believers. Killing a non-beliver is not a sin but it is belived to please Allah and so naturally Islam cannot co-exist with other religions as other religious followers are not ready to give away their lives for this mad belief.

Muslims CAN coexist with other religions. It is only the extremists in the Islamic faith that feel that "infidels" have to die for their beliefs.

Its not that they can't exist with other religions, its just that they consider many things very sinful and unacceptable. That is the reason they hate the US. Just seeing a women in a skirt walking down the strret with a briefcase is difficult for them. Imagine what they would think of Las Vegas.

Because Islam is warped & totalitarian by nature. It doesnt recognise other religions because that would contradict its idiotic teachings.

Islam incorporates the teachings of both the new and the old testaments. Allah is the Arabic word for God and that god is the same god one believes in as a Jew or Christian. It is extremism that is the concern.

Well friend if u're taking abt religion than every religion is same with only one view how to b human n reach our salvation.
If its abt peoples than they r same like us it's only our govts. who r like leeches sucking our blood frm most vulnerable point religion i'm hindu u'r muslim i'm superior vice-versa.
