I hope someday the polarization in this country between the two parties, as is displayed in quite some detail here in the archives of Y!A, can be put aside for a second on issues such as abortion and stem cell research so that we can focus on the task at hand. This war.
Some want withdrawl, some want us to stay, some just want something to be accomplished. Thats where im at, I just want this country to regain its good name as the beacon of freedom and democracy in the world, I want us to win this war but that doesnt necessarily mean eradicating the enemy necessarily. I want for this war to mean something, and go down in History as the conflict that changed things.
It doesnt matter if you liberal or conservative, what we need in this country are Real Americans: A person who loves there country, is a good honorable men, and makes decisions based on the better good, not on money or politics.
How can we ever accomplish such a complicated task?
Not by simply bashing Bush

We know you think he is the root of all evil in this country and every time you get a parking ticket it came straight from the oval office, but seriousely... the problem is bigger than him or the republican party.
Both parties have contributed a lot to the developement of this country, but simply hatred will not march us forward to our next objective, only hard work and seriouse though, as well as a little love for our country will get us there.
Don't you think?

@ bildymoo…
Personally I agree with you, dont even think this post was about how the liberals are right, however they have made some contributions to the country we have to admit. Personally I think conservatives have it pretty much all straight except for stem cell research but other than that I think the liberals and their anti-american hate speach is basicly what got us here, just my 2 cents though.

@ Aristotle
"Did you serve, or are you just lending lip service for Bush? "
No I enlisted a while ago and am in DEP because I had to have surgery so it lagged it. My brother has had 2 tours of afghanistan and 3 of Iraq.
The problem isnt that I think no one will win, its that I think they will win. Who cares about Bush, he is onyl here for another 2 years, what is our plan for if a democrat gets elected, is their only solution running away?
I pay no lip service to Bush, only to what I believe.
