Would you, given her less than credible background, still toss your vote to Hillary if she won the nomination or do you think there is no way she can win with Obama in the mix? And do you think he has a certain appeal that she could not acheive no matter what?

I have been reading for the past six days questions posted on this Politics section and reading a few answers. So, my question is, with all the name calling and hate filled questions what does everyone think they are accomplishing or is this just a forum to show off some "fake rage"?
I hope I get honest, mature and intelligent answers.

Can an employer impose a condition on their employees that they must agree to pay for a Q fever injection and have the expenses deducted from their wages, before they will officially offer them a job?

My partner worked in a local abbitoir, and he was forced to pay for his injection out of his wages.

I thought that an employer can NOT make an employee pay for medical expenses which would effect their health or safety in the workplace?

Can someone show me some info on OH&S laws regarding medical costs for employees?

I know it would be tax deductable, but he wasnt even given a receipt for the injection.

Shouldnt the employer pay for this type of expense, and claim it in their own taxes??

All these people scream about how the rich are getting all the tax cuts and how the republicans are sheltering them. Let everyone pay the same pecentage taxes when they buy something. Pay 20% when you spend a million or a dollar.
Sure everything will have a 20% mark up on it.
but..
You wont pay federal taxes or social security or medicare taxes out of your check.
You must also consider how much of the price is already increased by taxes employers pay to the federal governement and how much employees pay to the federal government.

Some items like cars would be cheapers to buy. Their price is increased 22-23% by taxes.

So weather your a Demorcrate, Republican, Libritarian, or Independant ...
Write your congressman about support for the flat tax plan which has been around for a long time.

Otherwise shut up about taxes.
P.S. As long as the government cuts taxes who cares who its for. As long as they dont raise taxes on anyone.

I hate the fact that the gov't thinks it right to take hard-earned money away from me, into a system of highway robbery, named Social Security, it totally contradicts the principals of the Constitution and it is just wrong. It sickens me to think about what they are doing. Can anyone help me to retrieve my (underline) money?

Nancy Pelosi and crew are supporting the war on terror by sneaking in $124 billion wartime spending bill.

So all you Neo Con supporters can stop crying when you say Democrats don't want the war. They are clearly ready and willing to keep the war machine and war profiteering going; clearly against the majority of Americans.

MUSLIM pupils at a secondary school in northeastern Nigeria beat a teacher to death today after accusing her of desecrating the Koran.

Oluwatoyin Olusase, a Christian, was adjudicating an Islamic Religious Knowledge exam at the school in Gombe state when the incident occurred.

The students attacked her outside the school compound after the exam and killed her, witnesses said.

It was not clear exactly what Olusase had done that angered the students.

Police confirmed the killing and said their intervention had prevented the incident from turning into a riot.

"We have received information that a female teacher has been lynched by her students. We are investigating the report," Gombe state police commissioner Joseph Ibi said.

Religion of peace my butt.

The UN's resolutions against North Korea and Iran are blatantly snubbed by those countries and ignored. The UN has no enforcing power. New clips from the Middle East show people burning the UN flag. Libya is in charge of the UN's human rights comission.

At first, I thought it was only the political arm of the UN that was a sham, but then I learned that it's "humanitarian" arm is equally repugnant. I saw a report that showed that Africans who are fortunate enough to have received an education are angry because the UN pressures them to use "clean" energy, such as solar power, which is unreliable and extrememly expensive and does not supply enough power to run hospitals and other vital facilities. They need to burn oil to develop, but are denied by politicans who are oblivious to the troubles of regular people. Also, there was another report that showed that the UN is disingenuous in its reports. An expert on malaria a report that the UN gave on malaria.

Bush is allowing them to be questioned. He just refuses to allow them to be compelled legally to tell the truth.

Doesn't that strike you as SLIGHTLY suspicious?

Let me rephrase. If a Democrat President did it, wouldn't you have a problem with it?
