Put politics aside and go by the actual science behind the discussion. (I know this is difficult for the many conservatives who don't understand that Creationism isn't science.)
Increased carbon emissions are scientific fact. Its effect on the global climate change is scientific fact.
The only thing about this that should be political isn't WHETHER there is a problem, but HOW to SOLVE the problem.

Who cares. After he failed to become president, I could not care less what this phony balony idiot has to say. He is perhaps the biggest hipocrate in our lifetime. He made his fortune from his dad. He's right on. And, people are foolish to believe Michael Crichton on anyting. My god, he said on a video that's posted on Youtube.com that you can safely eat DDT and that second hand smoke isn't bad for you. We should feed his daughter DDT and breath second hand smoke in her face continuously to test his junk theories.
