All these people scream about how the rich are getting all the tax cuts and how the republicans are sheltering them. Let everyone pay the same pecentage taxes when they buy something. Pay 20% when you spend a million or a dollar.
Sure everything will have a 20% mark up on it.
but..
You wont pay federal taxes or social security or medicare taxes out of your check.
You must also consider how much of the price is already increased by taxes employers pay to the federal governement and how much employees pay to the federal government.

Some items like cars would be cheapers to buy. Their price is increased 22-23% by taxes.

So weather your a Demorcrate, Republican, Libritarian, or Independant ...
Write your congressman about support for the flat tax plan which has been around for a long time.

Otherwise shut up about taxes.
P.S. As long as the government cuts taxes who cares who its for. As long as they dont raise taxes on anyone.

A twenty percent national sales tax would be a tax hike on me, and flat out starve anyone making less than I do. Not only that, but it would be a MASSIVE tax cut for the rich, who already pay much more than that in income tax, and spend less than they make anyway. Wanna see our government fold?

Flat tax is fine as long as unless there is a declared war the budget must be balanced.

Are you serious??? You just raised my taxes considerably (put me and my kids out on the street,) and gave the wealthy in inconceivable tax cut! Do the math, then go find a wealthy taxpayer and hug him and thank him.
