We hear a lot about Iraq, but what the hell are we doing in Afghanistan? And don't give me any of that 'they're hiding bin Laden' crap--apparently, he's in Pakistan now anyway, and besides, Paraguay and Argentina were 'hiding' convicted Nazi war criminals and we never attacked them.

In yahoo they are always putting down each other and calling each other bad names. I'm suprised they don't pull out their guns and go to war with each other. Everyone says they are proud to live in a democracy that allows for free speech and yet each side seems to want to take this freedom from the other. Why can't you talk to each other in a civil manner?

I've tried briefly finding something about this, to no avail.

I want to know if this is some half-baked add-on from a more recent administration, or if our Forefathers drafted this into our Constitution.

It sounds like pristine Pork Barrel to me, regardless of who is President.

NO partisan blabber here - Stay on the specific topic, please!

What do you think about the budget then? 50 Million to the rain forrest, good move but not what we need, tabs up, beer up, who the hell are they trying to kid? . . . . I worked out today, giving up my smoking habit, stop driving a modestly large vehicle, downsizing my abode, I could have approx an extra £200 - £250 pounds a month, I've never thought about turning to tax free things before! No wonder there is a demand for street corner drugs!!

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...

And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
