I'm conservative and usually vote Republican, but have voted for a few pragmatic Democrats.
My best friend is a liberal Democrat.
My boss is a union Democrat (union member who started his own business).
I've heatedly debated with both of them without adverse effects to our friendship or my employment status.
Yahoo tends to bring out more name calling because you don't have be face to face. Just take it for what it is.

It's an internet thing, Rick.
Most of these people screaming obscenities at each other like rabid maniacs are just blowing off steam and would likely speak rationally and "agree to disagree" if they encountered each other in real life.
It's just easier to unleash the inner beast when masked in a shroud of anonymity.

Because somewhere in the past 200+ years....they have forgotten that we are all AMERICANS!!
I don't 'hate' anyone....I respect others' opinions...even if I do not agree with their views.
We all must realize that we have to give and take...it's the only way to create a 'civilized' society.

Those days are long gone. We're down to the 25% of the population that are hardcore fascists and troglodytes, and with them, no communication is possible. The only hope is to make them look ridiculous in public so they are no longer able to intimidate and deceive decent people.

I don't hate democrat voters. I just think they don't realize the party that represented the working man 40 years ago represents the man who doesn't work now.

I'm not a fan of people that try to steal my money, call me a racist for not believing blacks are inferior to whites, and who think my brothers who are serving in Iraq are immoral baby killers but abortion is just fine.
