Illegal according to the federal government who actually regulate those things.


Edit: just so you know I don't agree with the federal governments refusal to observe California's law.

I not real sure of the California laws, but, they fairly liberal on it's medical use from what I have heard. Glaucoma and Cancer are a few. But, this what I just hear. I feel other States do the same if it a real prescription, they just not publicize it.

Use of marijuana cannot be prosecuted under state laws when it is used by medical prescription for specific medical conditions. And individuals cannot be prosecuted under state laws for growing it or giving it away for solely medical purposes.

However, nothing stops the federal government from prosecuting people under federal anti-drug laws.
