As awful as Republicans are they are light-years better than the dems.

We need democrats periodically to get into office to remind people of the failings of their ideas.

Democrats "feel" Republicans think. Feeling is lazy and the country will slip into it every 8-12 years and be run by Democrats.

If we didnt have the democtrats it would be worse, just a longer cycle but at the left extreme would be comunism.

Of course I won't vote for a democrat, but they remind the country of the failures of socialism. Without them reminding us the situation would be much worse.

I'd vote for the Democrat. I'm not worried about the country surviving a Democrat in the White House.

Another Republican in the White House is a different matter............

it is time for a change where's ross perot when you need him lol - but seriously there is no party who represents the middle class that is the problem. the republicans are for big business and are closing doors on opportunity rapidly - exporting jobs and basically doing whatever big business wants - while saying god bless america and waving a flag - the democrats on the other hand are sitting there picking the stupidest issues to fight for - they are clueless as to what average joe needs and wants - I could care less about the following - gay rights (you have the right to be whatever you want to be your the one goin to hell not me )-stem cell research - I seem to be healthy without it - immigration - either you have the right to be here or you dont - if you dont have your papers please exit immediately no matter where you came from - people from your country are here legally making an honest living your making them look bad - what do I need health insurance or a reduction in costs - affordable daycare it is like another mortgage - if i could afford for my wife to stay home or vice versa I would but I live in the states and have enormous property taxes to pay not to mention 9percent sales tax 30percent revenue etc credit cards topped w high rates

Can the country survive with another person like George W. Bush?

Should we go make up excuses and fight another war? Shall we abandon a major city? Shall we simply pass out government monies and jobs to our political supporters? I don't know if I can stand that, let alone a person who is seemingly incapable of understanding any concepts not taught in middle school.

I've crossed party lines before, but based on what I've seen so far out of the Dem contenders, NO.

In the currant field of Democrats, against... They are working towards the total destruction of the moral fiber of traditional America. They have this robin hood elitist attitude and are more interested in getting and staying elected then in making this land and its people great!

I simply vote for the best candidate. Of course, there is almost invariably an (R) after his name, but that's a different post.

As long as they are willing to press THAT BUTTON, and not a Muslim-funded pansy like Jimmy Carter, then i'm fine with it.
