I am looking for a court case where a player or a spectator were injured due to a facilities negligence. For example, where a hockey fan sued an arena where they got hit with a puck.

Cases like that have already been decided. Generally the facility management is not responsible. Fans know the risk and assume the risk of getting hit by a puck during a game.

Baseball cases are similar. If you get hit with a ball while a spectator, there is no liability on the part of anyone.

I do recall one case where a fan walked under the stands to get a cold drink. While standing in line, he got hit by a ball that bounced through the exit and down a ramp.
